- I'm not gonna lie, I love my life with the lizards here at Kamp Kenan. Their habitats have become so dialed in and with every day that passes they become more friendly and comfortable with me. Even the black throat's are beginning to calm down! See what Slinky, Inky, Lola, Chase, DIamond, Sonny and Cher are all up too!

Slinky's enclosure would look so cool with air plants higher up on the walls. You should have kagen come help hang some. Also ever think to add a basking shelf that sits above the universe rock so he can see out of the enclosure and you can also see him basking from outside the enclosure?
I didn´t realize how big the Croc monitors were until 11:00 when I saw him right next to you. He´s huge! What an impressive animal.
We miss you being filmed instead of doing the filming. It gave a nice TV Show look!!

Wow... Cher is really getting chill ! That was such a JOY... to see her come to YOU for food . That is such GREAT progress ....from the day at Fred's place when she and Sonny had to be captured and transported to this new, WONDERFUL ecosystem ! Thank You Aquascape ! And being able to touch the Crock monitors... that is also real progress. Inky will always be one tough momma... such growth from the day she plopped out of that little bag in your office. Then King Slinky , AND LULU, and the Black Throats !... I love watching them eat ! Those Black Throats ... Just remember how cool Shrek became as he grew. What a wonderful Video.... and you saved the Curley Tail !
Thanks Sally. All the progress that has been made is going to go a long way once these guys get as big as Shrek like you mentioned. It's hard to imagine what things will be like when that day comes, but it isn't that far away!

May be cool to setup a little Caiman Creek Livestream Cam. Then we/you can catch vid of them hunting and stuff. I know the tech side isnt your expertise but it wouldnt be super hard. Just an idea, love the Caiman!!

Success trip with my son. 30lb snapping turtle in middle of secluded road up in Boston n I said to myself what would Kenan do?? I pulled over got out n escorted it to side of the road in fear it would get hurt. I never seen snapping turtle out in wild like that so because of watching this channel for years I felt that was right thing to do n was proud of myself mind you my son ran 20 yards away thinking turtle could catch him. lol. Was cool moment.

Never a dull video! Watching the monitors is always a treat. Seeing the basilisk was educational; i didn't know about the males' crest. And I had no idea that curly tails had such an attitude when "cornered". Hopefully he'll/she'll spread the word to measuring the mesh size BEFORE you try to go through it.

After you rehome Lulu, I vote you instead upgrade Inky next to Slinky! And the Argus in Inky’s current home! And get a nice big new snake to put in that little side cage the Argus is in now! I always felt that little side cage was a better spot for a snake than a lizard!

Can you shade the pond while you are waiting for the trees to grow that canopy? Maybe put a couple sails over the water in summer? That Florida sun is not a game! No one wants to cool off in 92 degree water. 😝

Slinky just housed 3 good sized rats like they were nothing! What a beast. His enclosure landscape grew back nicely! Where are the gators??

You can try to put up an opaque barrier between you and the noisy dogs. If they can’t see you, they’ll be less likely to bark. I know this because when I walk my dog through our neighborhood, other dogs hanging out in their backyards only bark when they see us.
They can still hear him. People’s canines are a reflection of themselves, some are just loud, obnoxious and uncontrollable. The owner has no control over her animals and her yelling just adds to the racket, very disrespectful.

hey cannon if you want a little more shade and came in Creek Creek add a banana plant in that corner where you were standing and fresh feeding the female because that would give you shade on that corner cuz everywhere else is going to get shade except for that corner and with banana plants you can always cut them back and to give more light if you need it. this is a suggestion

23:05 one time I was at the Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary and they had a black throat monitor in an overhead enclosure, and he came right up to the glass and started clawing at it just like your black throat monitors were doing. That enclosure had no gaps and I wasn't putting my hand anywhere near it, so I don't think yours was trying to claw your fingers. Or maybe the one I saw really wanted to eat my face. Maybe black throats are just really curious about humans?
I was able to capture the behavior on video, so maybe if I ever come down to Florida I'll visit and show you

Why do so many of these reptiles lose the sight in one eye?
Isn't that 3 or 4 you've had now?
Canon when you're pointing the camera at a very glary bottle of body of water we can't see anything underneath that glare for us to see you need to get a polarizing lens cap that will allow us to see through the glare you can get them for your phone you can get them for your regular iPhones or I whatever GoPro's you can get them a Gopros whatever you need you can get them online so all these years you've been showing us water and stuff under the water most of us can't see anything Unless you like there's a shadow blocking the light and then we can see through the waves on the surface of the water So get yourself a polarizing lens and then we can see stuff under the water without having to go under the water to see it
they're just like polarizing sunglasses which allow you to see without the glare while you're driving
