I am getting lots of confused comments so I decided to pin this here. I didn't say $8000 in the beginning, I said "a thousand dollars" lol ($1000) Do the math RP is $900 and the old EF you can probably buy for $20. How on earth would $8000 be considered budget?. I guess my accent sometimes gets too strong haha.
@@IreneRudnyk lol i bet you do u rely are an amazing photographer and it was you and Peter macinin that made me want to try photography i get my trypod and poleriser and my filters on Saturday so please keep making these amazing videos lol sorry about the spelling i cant spell very well 😀😀😀
Irene takes so many pictures. I can understand a few (3-5) pictures per pose, but it's rapid-fire. She must end up with dozens of very similar looking pics, and especially with modern cameras, everything perfectly in focus 90% of the time, so most are keepers. I hate that moment in Lightroom with ten almost identical pictures and having to choose one.
Actually I think it would be much easier to compare A & B if the before/after would be side by side rather than one at a time cause then unless u go backward of 5 seconds back and forth, ur gonna miss differences between the shots.
Now that's cool and inspired: a wrong-sized round filter taped to the lens! Talk about budget photography! Very helpful to see so many poses and different lighting positions. Thank you.
I feel your enthusiasm for sharing the works with people. Not like other UA-camrs, you share in details the lens, the camera information and most importantly, you share the before and after. The RP is good but I believe that it very much depends on the photographer’s skills. You not only work with your passion but also your heart. You deserve 900k subscribers and more.
you always proving that it's not a gear, it's a photographer ! i watched your video with your very first camera few times and results is amazing, keep up with amazing work, you always inspiring me to try something, i wish i would have a model for it :D
When I saw the small film excerpt from the video on You tube I had to watch it. The hair color caught my eye right away. She is just beautiful. She looks like a princess. I have red hair too. Curls that fall over my shoulder. I used to always dye my hair. Today I stand by my hair color. Great Video Irene
It would be great if some day you show us how a single lighting thing makes a change when you remove it and when you add it like what will the photos look if you remove the hair light for better understanding btw love you ❤️
I still have a Kalt diffusion crackle filter called the Spot Soft. If you shoot stopped down it is sharp, but if you shoot wide open it is soft like yours, perhaps softer. This is from my old film days years ago. Love it, except back then I could not afford a large f-stop lens to use with it.
It’s good to see that portrait photography is possible with the EOS RP and the EF Nifty Fifty and not also with only the 3000€ RF 85 L lense. Thank you for this BTS in your DIY studio!
My goodness this shoot is absolutely fabulous. With budget materials you shoot this masterpiece. Also credits to the model. I am already a fan but now even more. Thx for sharing Irene
Back in the day, we would use a cut section of women's black hosery stretched over the lens to soften image and held in place with a rubber band. Great tutorial and gorgeous model! Thank you.
Wow! Definitely my favourite video on your channel so far. This is my favourite style. Please do more with the softening filter combined with vintage dresses or night gowns. It gives a beautiful dreamy effect and anything vintage just looks so good. Your work is amazing!

Hi Irene, would love to see another of your retouch videos - one of these images would be perfect. Love your ideas, wardrobe and how you put everything together so perfectly.
Hi Irene !!! Your accent is cute . Probably everybody got mixed up because your work is sooo beautiful it looks like an $8000 plus shoot when you are done !! LOVE as always !!!
Hi Irene If you have a 100mm square filter system I recommend the Lee Filters soft set. These are polyester filters in 100mm frames, I use them to give a slightly softer look to highlights and generally use the No.2 filter.
I had the same question. I got my first camera ever on 19th of this month and I covered a huge Shiva puja and yagya in Varanasi on 23rd. Mostly with the 50mm. I took about 400-500 shots and only selected 20 pictures to give to the client. I have more good ones if he asks for them but yeah, only 20. And to answer your question, its tough... hehehe. Almost frustrating too! But having another person to help you choose them makes the job a lot easier.
I love when you do these types of video. The images you create are beautiful and aspirational but you also prove they are achievable with limited means. It’s these types of shoots which give me the belief to keep creating. A little gushy there, but yeah - thanks 😂

This is why I stopped watching any technical reviews, when the R and RP came out everyone made it seems like the worst cameras ever but actually they are really good and amazing value for the price.
@@IreneRudnyk i was amazed by you because you only did not make talk about the camera like the others did, but you also showing the people what eos rp can make in real world..thanks irene!
Irene, great video as always. What really stands out in your BTS videos for me is your improvisational creativity during the shoots, e.g. adding props, using different filters, etc. Also, I really appreciate these “budget shoots”, especially for all of us amateurs who can’t afford high end lens and lighting set ups. I can’t wait to see what you will do with the imminent RF 50/1.8 after it’s released.
Hello Irene ! Thank you.. i really love yours tutorials. Please, can you give a lesson how to make this glow effect ? Or maybe i can buy this lesson? ❤
I loved the softening filters ! The shots were very cinematic. It reminded me a little of the glowy look from phantom of the opera and lord of the rings :) I hope you get a chance to use them during golden hour in the future !
It shocks me every time I see your work......So incredibly beautiful! Are you able to get paid what you're worth? I'm wondering if there is a market for this unbelievably gorgeous work.
I keep a UV filter on my Nikon 24-120 all the time mostly to protect the front element. Other than that, I use a circular polarizer sometimes. That's about it. Not much of anything fits my 14-24.
This I love. Great selection on the model and the outfit. The extensions make her look fit just right. With the editing to pull in a touch more sharpness I think a lot of folks would have trouble picking which images were done with this setup and a much more expensive setup. Just shows that solid photographers can make great images with any decent camera. Back when I worked in news/events photography I used a basic Nikon FM and a couple of decent lenses. And got some well received images from them on a regular basis. If I wasn't invested in primes for my 2 Sony A6000s which take some nice images I routinely print at 16x20 on canvas and prints, I would be taking a look at the RP for the full frame on a budget. Beautiful work on this one. Great idea for a shoot.

If you find you have good images you want to use and they're not too sharp try Topaz Labs Sharpen AI. Dry Denoise AI also, and Gigapixel for upscaling.
Model, styling & photos were gorgeous, the one thing that distracted from the finished images was the Victorian globe candle. Not going with the dress & hair, and the LED reflection took me out of the atmosphere, the red candle was better. The Pom would have been perfect in a few shots with the cream and russet tones. Love your tutorials and thanks for sharing ❤️
In my opinion LED’s don’t produce enough light for most settings but that is what you’re going for here. It looks great though. Ok, I just ordered the EF 50mm and 85mm lenses 😀 What is the difference between the Canon adapter ring and the control ring? The control ring is much more expensive but I don’t know what it offers
