Something that I failed to mention in the video: the reason I only take bee pollen during the warm months is because I first and foremost take it to treat allergies. Since taking supplements is something I don't like to do (for budget and lifestyle reasons), I just can't be arsed to have it year-round; but I might consider it in 2025.
"this is why you have low test, not enough pollen" Hello baguette, my brother did something similar against peanut allergy. He would freak out even if there was peanuts in a room with him. When he was done with very slowly adding some peanut dust to his food and using peanut oil he was able to enter a peanut factory in the end with no effect on him.
I actually did exactly that with my cats. I mean, I didn’t eat small portions of them lol, I used to rub my face in their fur every morning, just a brief touch at the beginning, a bit longer the next day, and now I’m allergy free. I remember the doc told me I gotta get rid of the cats. Such an idiot.
My girl's father has bees and he gifted me this. I took a whole big spoon to try out if I'm not allergic. I fortunately wasn't but oh god lol. Bee roulette.

My father has been using bee pollen for years. I've been buying locally produced bee pollen regularly for him. He's in his 60s and has beautiful thick wavy hair, and has maybe 12 strands of grey hair. I'll start taking it myself and report on the progress. --Hunger killing--
for this same purpose i take local honey, royal jelly occasionally, and pine pollen. All of which have their slightly unique benefits but i 100% agree with all your points and have noticed the same benefits. Damn, I'm Chinese and I didn't even realize that the pollen thing mentioned in some of the old poems was supposed to be this. Lol I've always thought they straight up just ingest flowers or something.
Something to mention so that people don't get hung up about it is finding organic raw honey and organic bee pollen. You can't truly find organic because nobody can control whether or not bees get their nectar and pollen from pesticide sprayed flowers or not so just do your best. Look for the keywords local and raw, and the name of the farm (address to if you can), and that's good enough.

Day 1, took 1/2 tsp around 3, 5, and 7pm. Took NH's advice and started with one pellet, waited 5 min, then continued until I felt a small tingling in my lungs paired with a light adrenaline rush. Easily got an extra 15000 steps. Might've overdone either the exercise or pollen because I was fairly alert until 5am (usually asleep by 10pm). Slightly tired today, but not as tired as I thought I would feel on 4 hours of sleep. Enjoying so far!

update: i'm up to 1 tablespoon doses now. i do feel more numbness and irritation in my throat compared to my tongue or the roof of my mouth, but the intensity is definitely better than when i was getting allergic reactions from tiny pinch of pollen. i have not suffered any noticeable bouts of hay fever since i started. not sure how much i can credit it to the bee pollen but it is worth the price. i'm not even 20% of the way through this tiny container.
I’m part of the raw honey cult, but haven’t taken bee pollen in a while. Looking forward to reincorporating it into my routine- thanks for this video NH
@@PS-lv1mr basically NH has a pollen allergy and in the last few years has been microdosing bee pollen, initially to build his tolerance to it. Eventually through this he noticed the profound effects it has on his physique, his vitality and overall well-being whenever he reintroduces it into his routine. Training will always be most important- but as far as natty supplements go, bee pollen is pretty goated
I get great raw honey from my sister in law's farm, will have to see if she can get me any pollen as well. It's only maybe 30 min away from where I live, so should have good allergy benefits. As you said, the difference between store-bought honey and fresh farm honey is night and day, it's like the difference between store bought $10 red wine and what you'd get at a tasting at a nice winery (appeal to French nature). Gonna start adding honey and pollen to my breakfast shake. I used to take bee pollen in the spring/summer to help with allergies and got modest benefit in the past.
When I was 16 there was this dude that at the time I thought was just a giant of a man. He was 6'1 and 255-260 lbs and according to him didn't lift ever. He was not fat, just a big thick guy who just looked bull strong and I asked him his secret and I remember him saying "Working outside and Bee Pollen". I was like WTF, that doesn't make sense cause I didn't even know what Bee Pollen really was. Anyway I was 16, 5'10 and 145 lbs soaking wet. Well I started taking Bee Pollen as part of my normal regimen along with the BS MASS GAINER 3000 or whatever it was back then. I also never stopped training and Im now 47 and 6'2" and 275 lbs. No other supplements except Creatine. Can't sit here and tell you it was the Bee Pollen, but I can say that Bee Pollen has been a pretty consistent part of my life since that dude said that to me and now Im bigger than he ever was. Ive won a few Strongman comps and Arm Wrestling tourneys in my day.
NH, Have u read the books of Nishitani Keiji. He's a Japanese philosopher who studied Western existential philosophy (Nietzsche, Heidegger, Sartre, ...) and resolves/prevents the nihilism that follows from that via the zen/buddhist concept of nothingness (sunyatta). Would be interesting to hear your perspective on this. I know Nietzsche didn't have a high opinion on buddhism but he had limited and flawed translations and most of his criticism hinges on concepts like the wheel of rebirth etc from Tibetan Buddhism that aren't necessary for Zen Buddhism/Daoism.
After a few months I've noticed the pollen seems to have really helped with clarity of thought and focus. I have cut caffeine consumption and I feel like my joints are less inflamed after weight training. The pollen I've been using isn't the best quality but I do feel a slight over all improvement in my health and will be leaving it in my short list of daily natural supplements. What I can't say is that I feel like it has gained me any muscle but I am very close to max gen. Potential.
I wanna preface this by saying that I’m no expert so you should take this with a grain of salt, especially if it goes against your personal experience. As someone with some fucked up seasonal allergies and also a average bee enjoyer, the plants that bees pollinate aren’t in the vast majority of cases the ones that cause your allergies. Even if it doesn’t help your allergies directly you should still consume these products as they will help you feel better over all since they’re really good for you and also anything these suckers make is absolutely delicious As I’m sure NH points out in the video please go local, you’d be surprised with the shit supermarkets are legally allowed to sell to you.
how many fasts did you do? Essentially what was your fasting routine? I developed a tree pollen allergy in 2021 as a 32 to dude who never had any seasonal allergies...
Hello NH (and whoever reads this), I have 2 questions regarding bee pollen. 1 - At around minute 19 you comment on the energy levels and even compare it to caffeine. The question is, even though it is a natural product and apparently has no or few bad stuff, are you concerned with some kind of addiction/dependency on the product? 2 - I see that in the nutrition facts of bee pollen (depending on which one) sugar (from the nectar in this case) makes up around 30-40g per 100g of bee pollen. Should one be concerned about that? I'm not an expert on sugar, I know there are tons and tons of different kinds of sugar and they vary in their healthiness. By pure logic, I guess the sugar content in nectar has nothing to do with ultra-processed sugar, but still I don't know. I've read the study (from which you pasted screenshots in your video) "Bee Pollen: Current Status and Therapeutic Potential" and when talking about sugar there is only some technical information. -> "As a source of energy, carbohydrates exist in bee pollen at 30.8%, containing reducing sugars like glucose and fructose ". Thank you very much and have a great day!
Salut NH, pourrais tu mettre le lien de quelques études mentionnées dans ta vidéo. C'est pour des recherches personnelles. Encore merci pour ton travail
the reason why no one talks about bee pollen is because the previous generation has been scared shitless by that one story by Roald Dahl ( guy who wrote charlie and the chocolate factory) titled "Royal Jelly". Its a short horror about a guy who has a premature baby that strugles to survive and so he gives her bee pollen, secretly. The mother finds out weeks later discovering her ill daughter grew bee like features.
I've been consuming bee pollen for about a month, and I'm not allergic to pollen. During the first week, I didn't encounter any issues. However, in the recent weeks, regardless of whether I consume it on an empty stomach, before meals, or after meals, each time about 10g, I've experienced discomfort in my stomach. This lasts for about two hours. Even when I reduced the amount to 5g, the discomfort persisted. I'm unsure why this is happening and it's quite frustrating.
The cell walls of bee pollen are very strong so you are unable to digest properly, also there is two types of pollen, dehydrated and fresh, the fresh stuff is better. Both the get max benefits needs to be fermented which pre digests it so you can absorb and digest it properly. Bees do this and make bee bread which is how the bees ferment it
@@redditor7548 Thank you for your reply. I can only buy dehydrated bee pollen and I dissolve them in my mouth for 1 minute with saliva before swallowing slowly but still discomfort in my stomach. Do you have any other suggestions? Should I soak them in warm water and drink it?
@@Xiaoxu1125 look up ways to ferment it and do what works best for you. Only way to fully unlock the power of the bee pollen is through fermenting it properly, adding just warm water is not enough or holding with saliva is nit enough. Personally I brew kombucha and add bee pollen during the secondary fermentation step of the brewing process, just be warned that if you do this the pollen makes the bottles very explosive with carbonation.
Hey NH. You’ve mentioned that your opinions regarding certain things have changed over the years. Incline curls come to mind. That being said, do you still hold the view that heating food in the microwave is bad for hormonal health?
I wouldn't be able to pinpoint why exactly, but I do still distrust microwaves. I personally replaced mine with a toaster oven: takes longer to heat up, but the food is uniformly warm and it feels much healthier.
Something that I failed to mention in the video: the reason I only take bee pollen during the warm months is because I first and foremost take it to treat allergies. My grandma used to feed me pollen. Guess I was lucky
All of this makes a ton of sens. Thanks !
Also pine pollen has potent effects on hormones in your body
melted the first 2 granules of bee pollen on my tongue today. tip of my tongue felt numb, experienced hay fever symptoms in eyes and nose. if i can build up a tolerance to 1 tsp doses, i should be gucci to walk around outside without allergy meds.
update: i'm up to 1 tablespoon doses now. i do feel more numbness and irritation in my throat compared to my tongue or the roof of my mouth, but the intensity is definitely better than when i was getting allergic reactions from tiny pinch of pollen. i have not suffered any noticeable bouts of hay fever since i started. not sure how much i can credit it to the bee pollen but it is worth the price. i'm not even 20% of the way through this tiny container.
I’m part of the raw honey cult, but haven’t taken bee pollen in a while. Looking forward to reincorporating it into my routine- thanks for this video NH
can you summarize the video bro
So I can get rid of my Spring allergy with bee pollen? Thanks NH! Super important video.
Royal jelly next on the agenda sir
26:10 thank you nh i will now go "loco"👍🏻, ill be back in 6 mo to share my results💪🏻
NH will you be watching Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura?
22:45 How to take it (for me) 1:49, 3:09
NH,
Have u read the books of Nishitani Keiji.
I know Nietzsche didn't have a high opinion on buddhism but he had limited and flawed translations and most of his criticism hinges on concepts like the wheel of rebirth etc from Tibetan Buddhism that aren't necessary for
Zen Buddhism/Daoism.
I'm a life time natty I've watched your channel for years now I just bought some I'll let you know how I feel in a while
update?
How do you feel? Wondering if NH got bought out by Big Pollen
Potential.
@@jamesporter2431 ty for responding, ive taken it myself for a few days now and i can attest to the energy increase for sure
I remember finding out about bee pollen from some stuff written by Steve Reeves. Good stuff.
Even if it doesn’t help your allergies directly you should still consume these products as they will help you feel better over all since they’re really good for you and also anything these suckers make is absolutely delicious
As I’m sure NH points out in the video please go local, you’d be surprised with the shit supermarkets are legally allowed to sell to you.
My pollen allergy symptoms stopped after I started doing +24h fasts.
Very interesting. Did you experience muscle loss with fasting?
@@aTouchoClass just for one day? Probably just water weight from lack of carbs if anything and it probably came back the next day. Nothing serious
@@nightfighter7452 +24h could mean more than 1 day bro
how many fasts did you do? Essentially what was your fasting routine? I developed a tree pollen allergy in 2021 as a 32 to dude who never had any seasonal allergies...
my gf's dad is beekeeping, she gives me these time to time, expensive af here in Turkey.
Sounds amazing, you should also have some of his honey
Hello NH (and whoever reads this),
I have 2 questions regarding bee pollen.
Day 3, six 1/2 tsp doses. The adrenaline highs feel amazing. Will have to continue to up the dosage to get the same effects.
It's pollen time 🍝
NH, Arab-Israeli Conflict video when
The people have spoken
Nah 😂
Thankfully i have no allergies, will mega dose
To create immunity you should take bee pollen in small doses actually when its not an allergy season...
Bee pollen: allergic to being small.
Salut NH, pourrais tu mettre le lien de quelques études mentionnées dans ta vidéo. C'est pour des recherches personnelles. Encore merci pour ton travail
I ferment my bee pollen in home made kombucha, makes it more bio available
my local bee farm is now suddenly sold out of bee pollen lol coincidence or am i near a bunch of NH fans?
I’ve worked up to a tablespoon a night in my overnight oats. It’s a legit strategy to overcome allergies.
hell yeah man. love
NH has hit the supplement peddling phase.
the reason why no one talks about bee pollen is because the previous generation has been scared shitless by that one story by Roald Dahl ( guy who wrote charlie and the chocolate factory) titled "Royal Jelly". Its a short horror about a guy who has a premature baby that strugles to survive and so he gives her bee pollen, secretly. The mother finds out weeks later discovering her ill daughter grew bee like features.
My uncle runs marathons and he swears that Garlic and Olives are superfoods for performance, literally all he eats on a run lol
Basically pre-workout without man-made chemicals :) I like it
I've been consuming bee pollen for about a month, and I'm not allergic to pollen.

Every year I get wrecked by my allergies. Might have to give this a go next year when I know they tend to flair up!
do I have to buy one from the same city? I cant find any in my city :/ or should I get it just from anywhere in my country?
Country should be fine too
@@NaturalHypertrophy should i take it all year?
Top bro 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Just one tip you are not meant to use metalic spons with honey only wooden or plasic.
I can't believe another one of us had been bought out by the Big Bee...
I can't remember hearing if you take this only in spring or all year?
I usually take it from April to Sept/Oct, but I'm considering staying on it all year considering the benefits.
Can you do a video on trainer winny he specializes in simplifying bodybuilding and it would be intresting to see your take on it
