I haven't order anything of Kikagoods yet. But when I do, it's definitely Nanci's Dreams, whole set. Will be using your code 😊 This series is a must collect complete.
Nancy figures are too sweet. 😊This is a, beautiful homage to asian culture and mythology, very symbolic. 💜 I cannot pick ups fwv, they're all too special. 😊
i think the one you called peacock is the phoenix! I didn't see the writing on the box clearly but it would fit since you mentioned the character for wind (feng huang) (I could also be wrong which, in that case, someone else be free to correct me lmao)
The secret is a white peacock and its so pretty! Also there's a list of the english names ig I'll write them in order as you unboxed them: Mermaid Xuan wu White tiger Qinglong Heavenly dog Nine tailed fox Phoenix Qilin Bai ze Suzaku Nine colored deer And blue bird
please dont be confuse of japanese and chinese. You keep on saying kanji where in fact its not. kinda racist and ignorant. the chinese writing system is HANZI and not KANJI! Just because we are asian means all of us are chinese
Kanji literally means “Han characters” it’s the Japanese word for hanzi :) I understand that a lot of kanji used in Japan have been adapted, but I’m referring to the ones that I can read that have similar readings/meaning in Japanese. You do realize that I’m also Asian and fluent in Japanese?
I think the issue is that you saying “kanji” is misleading as it’ll make your viewers think that the theme is based off of Japanese mythology when it’s in fact Chinese. There’s a difference between you saying “this character in kanji means xyz so I assume it’s the same in Chinese”, and you just calling all the Chinese characters kanji. I know kanji in Japanese literally means hanzi so there’s no distinction if you said this in Japanese, but to a western audience kanji is associated with Japanese only. I don’t know if that makes sense? In Japan the term encompasses all characters of Chinese origin, including ones exclusive to China, but in English it means Japanese-Chinese characters only. A lot of people in the west now (rightfully) call out when people make generalisations, and use “Chinese” as a blanket term to encompass everything east Asian. However it hurts going the other way too, because people automatically assume anything cute/ kawaii/ positive must be Japanese or Korean even if it’s actually chinese. It reinforces the narrative that western media pushes, that anything negative that comes out of Asia must be Chinese, and anything cute or fun or pretty must be Japanese/ Korean. I don’t know if that makes sense to you, but it’s just my two cents.
