Honestly I see a lot of sense in this close relationship between Galadriel and Sauron. And to think that in LOTR her great temptation, the repressed desire she had to overcome, was to become a queen of darkness. I think it makes sense that she repressed that possibility, and from what she saw in Sauron, maybe she didn't overcome him that much and that's why she stayed in Middle-earth until his death.
What's great about Halbrand/Sauron is that he really sells the idea that he's reformed and honourable. That's what Galadriel calls "a fair form". So from the beginning we see him rejecting her offer of becoming king and in her eyes it only makes him more honorable. You really buy into it, and it might even be that some part of him really wanted a fresh start, but him meeting Galadriel on that raft really sealed the deal, and he saw a new path to achieve his goal. Who knows what would have happened if Galadriel hadn't believed in Halbrand and actively pushed him towards regaining his throne.
It was not untill he started talking to Celebrimbor about how he could bind the Mithril to other metals. Then i knew for certain Halbrand was Sauron. Only he could have that kind of knowledge. It was very well written because before the final episode i didn't saw it coming.
I was suspicious (but I wasn't sure) as he said: "What do you know about darkness?" to Galadriel. (Imagine, a human says to an Elvish commander and experienced fighter "What do you know about darkness?") and he seemed to be really sorry that his fighters had killed her brother.
I love how even when you choose a subject that is being vidded a lot, you always manage to put your own spin on it and make your work stand out. I don't know how you do it but it's incredible everytime. The moves from slower more mesmerizing parts to faster more intense ones is gorgeous in this

sdgisogidfgoi this is amazing. you succeeded not only in conveying their complex dynamic, but in giving depth to their stories & encounters that allowed them, throughout the season, to arrive at the moment of catharsis that led sauron to speak of a future together, possible and visible in the waters that in fact brought them together and united them!!! i love it

They made it into a love story,butchering tokiens time line ,and they make the people of numenor look like a bunch of villagers,,there should of been way more numenoriens
