@@robertlawson698 I served as a commissioned officer in the US Army and as a police officer for nearly 30 years. In both organizations the first thing they teach is that unlawful laws should be questioned and are not bound to be obeyed or enforced. If it was different, we would still be living under a British flag, government and law. 🇺🇸

Remember like a few weeks ago when all these gun news channels were saying that this was it, this is going to be the time SCOTUS takes up a case? I remember.

These you tubers may not be managing your expectations very well. It was unlikely SCOTUS grant cert interlocutory. This is far from over, these are unprecedented times for the gun grabbers, their whole sham is falling apart under Bruen.

It's not as though there is any enforcement mechanism for states that ignore the rulings of the supreme court anyway. The supreme court seems to be rather irrelevant on the rare occasions where they do take a case. Look at Bruen or Heller! then Look at New York, Illinois and California!

We can have low expectations about what will happen, but claiming it's definitive and over before it actually is...that's just stpd.

@@Batmann_because even when scotus does something it means nothing. For example: the bruen decision. States blatantly violate the precedent set in the case and when we try to get injunctions they shut us down or ignore the cases even when the laws blatantly goes against their previous rulings. They have shown 0 reason to have faith that they’ll do the right thing.
Do you you really think dems are gonna allow it to happen? No. worst case, they hold it until they get a Democrat majority and pass an AWB nationally.
Things will change, just not the way we want. It'll be by bits and pieces. We'll get a bump of hope here and there, but the overall trend will eventually erode away the 2nd Amendment as was intended.

We need to get some assault weapon cases moving through more conservative District Courts of Appeal. If Biden wins in November these cases will come to a standstill at the lower level waiting for Thomas and Alito to retire.

Much ado about nothing. Bianchi was never going to get cert. The Illinois cases are ripe. It's not unusual for a case to be relisted multiple times before a decision on cert is made.
