South Woodham Ferrers Advert (VA 3/8/8/1)

This is a promotional film made in 1981 by the Essex Educational Video Unit (Catalogue Reference VA 3/8/8/1). It was used to promote the benefits of living and working in the new development of South Woodham Ferrers. This film includes some footage of the visit by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh to South Woodham Ferrers on the occasion of the official opening of the town square in May 1981. It also includes a song about South Woodham Ferrers performed by Right Hand Man.
