Those circus peanuts reminded me of my late mother. No, they're not chalky. They almost have a mellow kind of flavor. They are unique. I miss my mom, we had a great friendship.
My mom liked them. I hated them, still do. To me it has the texture of the antique couch cushion foam. Possibly taste too. It's an acquired taste, I guess. No hate on those that do like it. I have my preference too. After all, I love black licorice candy, so my opinion is weird anyway. Edit: Missed word
When Jen tried to give the skeleton and the coyote some cheerwine, I knew two things about her. 1: She's a kook. 2: She's my kind of kook. I used to get the wax soda bottles in root beer flavor, and, yes, I'd eat the whole bottle.

That Wax is safe, you'll actually find it in a lot of sweets or Candies, especially if they have a sheen to them, I love the Cry Baby gumballs and the flavours are Lemon, Orange, Cherry and Blue Raspberry, that flavour being similar to artifical grape as it's normally sweeter and more tart than real Raspberry (and incidently on of my faves, I even managed to get a Milkshake mix of it to make the Star Wars Blue Milk). I remember Mallowcones well too, when I was a kid my local Bakery would make them and decorate them with sprinkles and the like and my Mum would get them for me and my siblings as an afterschool treat, prepacked ones aren't as nice though as those Cones get a staleness after a while from the moisture in the Mallow.

Loved the miniature amusement park. Thought they were a thIng of the past, glad to see the circus peanuts are still in existence. I wonder if they taste the same? Thought of my Mom! Necco, I loved the chocolate wafers. The licorice, my favorites were the ones in the 3rd bin over to the right next to the black ones with colorful pink & blues, which my Grandmother had in her candy dish while growing up. I loved the black licorice too!

Awesome video I think it is really cool Jen is doing some videos with you. There was actually a small company making duff themed micro-brew out of Australia I believe. However fox sued them to cease citing not wanting to be tied in with alcohol. As a note at spencer gifts alone they sold simpsons shot glasses and regular glasses with drink recipes including the flaming homer. It looked really neat I like it's back as a soda.

I love TokiDoki!! Its Japanese inspired art designed by an Italian artist. I collect those guys as much as possible, the main creatures are unicornos which kinda look like alicorns, but aren’t. They also have people, cats, narwhals and other sea creatures and more (including food). I got a keychain once for Christmas as it was kinda horse related, and then I saw there were more made by the company and an obsession kinda started and it became one of many things I collect now. Anything horse or horse related I will buy and collect. Also I really want to visit this place as well as the candy store back home in Minnesota, I think its in Jordan, MN.

Those wax bottles with sweet liquid inside were, when I was a child, called "Sip-Its" -- they'd show up at the penny candy counter. (No, I'm not that old -- but there was an old-timey store near where I lived, complete with cracker barrel and a penny candy counter.) Drink the liquid, then chew the wax until all the flavour was gone. As for licorice, Jacob, your father was right. If it isn't based on licorice root, it's not licorice. If you really want to sample licorice, though, go to the Netherlands. They have dozens of different flavours of licorice (i.e. licorice with flavour added) -- lightly salted, double-salt, honey, chocolate, menthol, mint, various sorts of sweet licorice, salty and sweet licorice powder, salmiak licorice (look it up, _Wikipedia_ has an article on it) ... Iceland and the Scandinavian countries are licorice fiends, too, but I'm not sure they have as large a variety. One pharmacy (licorice has medicinal value -- great for coughs, for example -- so pharmacies in the Netherlands are good places to score the stuff) I always went to whenever I had a chance to go back had a wonderful assortment of the stuff, sold loose by the kilo. The pharmacist told me he always knew when a customer was a visiting ex-pat: those were the ones who bought huge amounts of licorice to tide them over until they could get back to Europe again!
