Its so easy to explain why tommy cant swim in VC, just say he never learned to swim... youd be surprised how many ppl there are IRL who actually cant swim.
Instead they came up with a bullshit excuse that Tommy can't swim because the ocean waters are shark infested 😂😂😂😂
@@b.a.m.mdoublem1196 yeah which is funny because he drowns instantly instead of getting mauled
Yeah stupid, gta5 has sharks charcters swim regardless
I'm not surprised since I can't swim myself
But Tommy isn't black.
In my opinion, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories should have been released on all consoles.
pc and mobile as well.
They could work on mobile easily with a few touches. I think LCS already has a mobile version, which was used to create the RE:LCS PC mod.
They were released on PS2...
Agreed.

"low popularity" bro the gba was not a "low popularity" device what you talking about, It was THE device too play games on the go back in the day.
No
Fr idk what the hell this dude is saying. The gba sold over 81 million units and the PSP which he claimes was more popular only sold a little over 76 million.
@@redmetroid743He had me when he said GTA Advance (keyword A D V A N C E) should be for PC or PS2.
@@fugedaboudit in his defense he probably was refering to the plot of the game.. not the mechanics.. not the identical 2d game for ps2 or pc, just a new expansion for GTA 3 with the plot of Mike
@@pannomic1818Alternately keep the 2D GTA 3 Liberty City game but make it closer visually to the PC version of GTA 2 and with all the PSP games stuff to match gameplay wise so it doesn’t end up being just a GTA 2 mod nor makes the same mistakes as regular Advance. (Chinatown Wars being the closest counterpart)
saying the gba was an unpopular system is CRAZY
Brother called it niche 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@mohamedaminekhadhraoui6417 I don't think the GBA was a niche console, unless 81 million units is considered niche, but I don't think so.
Who ever bought the console for a GTA title? Yes, it was highly popular among people, who played different games, not GTA. Pokémon maybe? So yea.
GTA 3: No map in menu
Vice City: Can't Swim
San Andreas: Ryder dies at Pier 69 instead of Green Sabre (not a traitor by the way)
Liberty City Stories: Can't fly anything
Vice City Stories: Constant gang attack/Main mission design
GTA 4: Not much things to spend on
China Town Wars: Overhead helicopter view
GTA 5: A.I. is too overpowered
hard agree on gta 3. it really sucks. especially in shoreside vale. i remember when i played the game for the first time i kept getting lost every time there
also saint marks is literally hell
GTA 3: Map in menu exists from Mobile version
GTA VC: Yeah i do agree but another thing i hate is that ultracops
GTA SA: Biker cops
GTA LCS: Also has less vehicles than VCS
GTA VCS: Yep
GTA 4: Well all you have is just ragdoll and its handling to spend on the game
GTA CTW: I agree tho
GTA V: Yeah which makes the game harder
Man, in GTA V you simply have too little hp.
4 you can't buy houses and store special cars in garages, also 3's A.I. was more over powered than 5, two pump action shots and your car is ruined

San Andreas needed a radio on the jetpack
They should have added it like they did with the submersible on gta 5 If I remember correctly
@@markcamley5237 I hate to break it to you but the ps2 was before updates were really a thing. They'd have to release a whole separate version on a new disk you couldn't just download it like nowadays.

Something I noticed recently and never realized before is a logic error in GTA SA. Which is CJ always wears Bell Bottom Pants while In 90s there were either baggy pants or Skinny ones. But CJ wears Bell bottom from Early 70s to mid 80s. Kinda weird don't you think? Besides CJ got a cellphone while he is technically All Clean(Got no cash and is a beggar in the beginning) still dude got A Mobile phone. Like wow
Unlikely, since jetpacks don't have radio antennas. CJ carrying a CD player would be cool though.
I never thought of having to drive around GTA SA to get to places as a bad thing, I don't know why
Same, not in gta 3, vice city and gta 4 either. I don't understand why people have such an issue with driving. The game is called grand theft auto.
@@Shushkin driving in San Andreas was just exhausting. Especially after sweet got locked up.
I love driving in the games, especially distance driving, I just can't be asked driving if I fail a mission where I actually have to re do the driving, that's exhausting
@@me-jo6687 Not really.
@@ajjohnson3416 there was trip skip option previous GTAs didn't have
I think by far the worst thing in GTA 3 is the broken completion checklist. Imagine beating the story, then doing side missions and discovering that you can't get a 100% because you accidentally got locked out of a mission you didn't complete on time.
Also having to go back to certain parts of the map is almost impossible without getting shot up by rival gangs after you beat the game
@@rylee3412 lol I remember beating GTA 3 once and realizing I couldn't do paramedic or firefighter because of the leone mafia
I remember beating the story and deciding to finally explore the city in peace.
Then a mafia guy with a shotgun showed up.
worse of all you get nothing and the locations become more violent
Driving in San Andreas is kinda fun. Idk why people hate it that much. It's realistic. And also it has a huge variety of places. I never got bored
True and it also gives the illusion of a bigger map
Due to it having a very large map, it is such a drag to go to point A to point B. That's why i'm glad that in GTA V, they didn't decided to copy the entire map of San Andreas because that would be very overwhelming.
Yeah sometimes there is more driving in a mission then the actual mission if you remember when we go pick up rosei and mac@@lesterantenor1026
The GTA: VC pause menu has a fished fed count and it goes up 1 everytime Tommy falls into the water.
The 1 thing I hate in San Andreas is the NPC's on the Highways. Many times If your driving down a 4 lane highway and try to pass them, they will cut into your lane and hit you or they will drive up behind you at a Super speed and ram you
The same with GTA 4 goin over the bridge’s
The Highway is chaos in SA
that's in most GTA games lol
Idk if this on pc but when i was playing the mobile version, a literally f*cking truck spawns at the grass not from the road and tried to hit me, same with the police going u - turn making the player hit them and get wanted level
Those are very annoying. They will rather suddenly block your way or hit you on highspeed
The Gameboy Advance was not a niche system. It was very popular and sold well.
This fucccqer said gta 3 on gba.. this is clearly a kid too Young to remember ANYTHING about that c era
Everyone I knew had a Gameboy advance if it wasn't popular then why did they make several versions of it? Gameboy advance, Gameboy advance sp, Gameboy advance sp lite, Gameboy micro
@@supergamer1122 They even went as far as to make the DS and DS Lite backwards compatible.
It wasn't a console either. I cringed every time he said that
GTA 4 beta had country side if i'm not mistaken, they removed it to focus on the linear map, which was perfect for GTA 4. Bigger doesn't always mean better, if a map is smaller in physical size but feels fuller in assets and general population then it's a W for me. I hope GTA 6 map is bigger than 5, but dense like GTA 4 was, we need a big but heavily populated world so we always have something new to see and do or encounter.
I know the GBA probably wasn't that popular with the target audience of Rockstar games but the GBA sold millions and was a huge success most people who had growing up look back on fondly GTA advance being on any other system would have took away what made the game unique and would have took away development time that could have been put into the next major game or it would have been too similar to LCS which came out just a year later
Yeah, it sold over 80 million units before the NDS came out only three years later and cut its life short. The DS did sell almost twice as many units but it also had a seven year run.
It's weird defending a handheld I bought around launch and regretted it.
"Low popularity of the console it was on." ->GBA... lol wut?
Also honestly, at the time that San Andreas came out, the idea of having three cities, rural areas, and a freeway system to explore was cool and part of the appeal. I never really wished I could teleport around the map or whatever. I think I only used the airports once or twice.
I can see it being tedious if it's your 1000th playthrough of the game, but otherwise the size of the map and all of the areas and the adventure the game takes you on was really enjoyable to me.
I've never used the airport for travel I'd rather just steal a plane or helicopter if I'm not using cheat codes lol
Truth be told, I love driving around in GTA San Andreas
How was the gameboy advance a niche system? It sold millions of units and I personally owned 3 of them at one point and still own two of them.
Yeah this dude has no clue wtf he's talking about
@@ConservativeCalifornian1032this kid said gta 3 was supposed to get ported on gba... he clearly have no idea how any of this works. He's young I get it
Fast travel in gta kinda defeat the point
What does suck about GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice City Stories and GTA Chinatown Wars? That these games were never released on PC!
VCS is my favorite and just happens to be the only GTA R* can't sell anymore. 😩
Im happy i can play it on PSN (PS3)
Emulators FTW! That's how I can enjoy Chinatown Wars. I own both the "Stories" on PSP, so no need of an emulator for those, but it exists for others, so go for it.
I think that the biggest drawback in GTA 5 is the lack of interactivity in the world. In GTA 4 you could visit major landmarks (or the GTA equivalent of them) and pay money to get a closer look or go inside. You could go to a restaurant and eat food or drink at a bar. In GTA SA you could go to a GYM and work out. None of these are present in GTA 5 and it’s a shame because I really enjoyed eating food and visiting the inside of landmarks when visiting the real Los Angeles. I also with there was another city other than just Los Santos.
EDIT: I especially consider it a shame since it takes off so many opportunities that could’ve been present in GTA Online. If there were restaurants you could do something like “get a bite to eat after a mission well done”. You could use the GYM to improve your character stats or lower your mental state (because your character is “blowing off steam”). You could fly to other cities giving private jets more practical use other than just to fly between Fort Zancudo, Sandy Shore Airfield and LSIA.
'Scuse me with the "visiting major landmarks" stuff. I mean there aren't that many in GTA V/Online, but there are few and just like in GTA IV you can visit them, pay money to get a closer look (through those binocular things, no idea what they're called, ever used one?). They may be fewer, than in previous game, but they are there and accessible, some in Online, but most in Story Mode, even taking the Cable Car atop Mount Chiliad, there's those binoculars to take a look at the magnificent view. Another pair of those binocular thingies is at the Gallileo Observatory and there's probably some more, but I can't think of any more from the top of my head. Maybe because GTA IV was so crowded, smaller map, more stuff, that the major landmarks were more accessible, even within the main story, after all the ending (both endings) take place near the Statue of Happiness, while in V, you hardly stumble across any noticeable landmark through the story, it takes some exploration on your own.
Also you can actually fly anywhere in GTA V/Online, not just Zancudo/Sandy Shores/LSIA, those are official airfields, with Zancudo being a restricted military base, so not an option for a business flight anyway. But you can fly all around the map, just within the map limits, which in turn depends on the game's limitation, you know. You can't expect to fly to other cities, if the game focuses especially on just one. We've had that thing with some earlier games, most noticeable in San Andreas, where it was possible to fly to Liberty City, but only for 1 mission and only to a very limited area. What good would that be in the HD era games? So yea.
Everybody had an gameboy advance at the time😂😂
The worst thing about gta SA is Ryder's betrayal
He wasn't supposed to die but if he did he should've died as our friend
Yeah forget what he talking about about San Andreas was perfection. Only thing wrong was the random turns from the npc’s while driving
One thing with San Andreas I wished was that they had a more consistent with it's trip skip system. There were some missions that were long and quiet challenging like Saint Marcs Bistro that you would have to fly to Liberty City everytime. But didn't give you an option to trip skip. But there were plenty of shorter missions that did give that option.
They should have put it in that mission Photo Opportunity that long drive from all the way from San Fierro to countryside then to Angel Pine was so unnecessary.
I thought trip skips were only an option on missions previously failed.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. GTA IV's Liberty City is the Best Map for a Driving Game in the franchise. 90% Roads and Buildings, and 10% Nature. And with the physics engine being so much fun imo, it is so encouraging to drive around the map and yet we still have the option to ride a taxi if we don't feel like driving which is absolutely useful and convenient. Vice City is the next Best.
I like how varied the maps are from SA and V, but it's downside is how large it is that it feels so frustrating to get from one location to another, which is bad because it discourages people from driving on the road and would have rather fly an aircraft instead. SA has too many content to entertain players when they're bored when they should've also focused on the stuff that would actually matter more for the players. I'm glad GTA IV improved it's physics and implented a taxi ride feature. Liberty City isn't as big of a map compared to SA and V, but it's definitely the biggest and most detailed city, more than Los Santos ever was in SA nor V.
V's main problem with its map, is there's only one small CITY and there aren't even many Interiors to enter to, and 70% of it is nature. So most of the time, you'd be driving on mountains, hills, grass, or dirt instead of the road just to take a shortcut. Better yet, ride an aircraft instead. So yeah, I actually really liked Liberty City and Vice City, more than I ever did with Los Santos despite how SA was my childhood game.
4:35 an easier argument : he just didn’t learn to swim
One issue I encountered in GTA 1 and especially London is the strict time limits in missions, combined with the camera, makes the missions unnecessarily difficult
Buying clothes or getting a haircut in GTA sa sucks, having to wait for cj to put them on then walk out the fitting room is so slow
Ahhhh yes the obscure and often unknown handheld Game Boy Advance by the small company Nintendo lol
He literally said "it shouldve been ported to the more popular PSP" THE MOTHERFUCKING GAMEBOY ADVANCED OUTSOLD THE PSP😂
11:43 gta Chinatown wars story is good & actually has many unpredictable, surprise moments like huang lee knows his uncle is the traitor same like cj knows big smoke is a traitor
Gta 1 is one shot one kill....the armor protects you from 3 bullets but when you have enemies with machine guns, you better pray , even with armor
Something I'd like to add about LCS that really, really annoyed me: the rival gangs. They would come out and shoot to kill when you're minding your own business and there is no getting rid of them, ever. At least in San Andreas and VCS they waited for some sort of provocation before engaging in combat (in San Andreas they usually warn you to get out before actually attacking) and unlike those two games, there was no way to permanently remove them from the areas they attack you in. No territory conquer, no business take over. Not even after completing all story missions they leave you alone or abandon the area. It was so, so annoying and perhaps the main reason why I don't want to replay that one game
GTA 3 has this problem too! Only the Yakuza and Southside Hoods are friendly to u
I actually liked that about LCS. That certain gangs would turn hostile to Toni after particular missions where he fucks them badly...aside from the Yardies who just had a shady leader.
@@MerlautJones Yeah, not saying they should never turn hostile, just that there should be a way to get rid of them, even if it's just main story missions
@@MerlautJones Yeah the Yardies leader was shady in GTA: LCS, GTA: Advance and GTA II
@@Alexalmo Yeah, I totally get your annoyance with it. I remember I had trouble with "See the Sight Before The Flight" since one spot was on Yakuza's turf who'd attack me so then the tourist would attack them instead of getting in position for the photo.
I didn't care for it in GTA 3, and no fun in Leones coming at me with shotguns. At least with Vice City, you only had to deal with it in Little Haiti.
This is a good video, but I don't think you could call the GBA "niche" by any stretch. Anything with Pokemon mainline games are going to be huge handhelds.
9:00 The Definitive Edition now made me realize this game can also benefit from a reduced draw distance and fog (or smog in this case, I guess). The map is small, it's a great map, but it's still not a 1:1 scale of New York, is it? And it just ends there, so it can look a bit weird.
GTA Chinatown Wars had a great story. Would have been nice to get a bit more of an explanation than 10 seconds of screen time.
Don't understand how the gba was a niche console with over 80 million sales?
This dude has 0 clue about consoles
Over the years I became extremely critical of GTA 5, but I think that I forgave most of the others shortcomings because then I knew this wouldn't be the last GTA and probably what I didn't liked would be fixed
Did you think you'd be waiting for over 10 years at the time though lol
The GBA section was really stupid. You cannibalized your own point during it and straight-up got facts wrong.
First major issue was that you said it was a mistake to introduce a new story in that particular game because nobody would get to experience that story. Then you said at the end that the story was lame and that the protagonist was "Claude 2.0".
Second major issue was the comment about the GBA being an "unpopular system nobody owned", and went on to say the PSP was a better, more popular option. The GBA sold 81.51 million units. The PSP's exact sales figures aren't known, but it's estimated to be between 80-82 million units. Meaning they're in the same sales range, lol. You could've argued that the PSP was a better home for a GTA game (which is true; hence LCS and VCS), but the idea that the GBA was this failure of a console is utter nonsense.
The reason why there are no motorcycles in GTA III is described in the game manual for Liberty City Stories
Even Red Dead had undead nightmare. It was a rockstar thing back in the day. Great dlc
GTA 6 has the opportunity to redeem every other GTA's flaws
Gta 3 : lack of motorcycles, can't swim, small map size
Gta vc : can't swim, small map size, less character customization
Gta SA : aggressive driving of NPCs, frequent gang attacks
Gta VCS and LCS : never played
Gta 4 : "let's go bowling", less character customization, driving physics
Gta CW : never played
Gta 5 : there's only one city, no cluckin Bell, no Burger shot and other fun activities like pool, gyms and arcade games
Bruh biggest flaw about gta 4 is lack of weapon variety and air planes and customization of character and cars
GTA 3: Can't swim
GTA VC: map size, Can't swim like in gta 3
GTA SA: Can't climb ladders, Zero missions, skateboards were removed, Ryder betrayed cj in the mission pier 69, draw distance, Missions like impounded, the truth is out there, tanked up were cut in the final release of the game
GTA LCS: Can't fly Planes
GTA VCS: Phil Colins licensing issues, not releasing on Android/iOS
GTA 4: lack of features like tanks, bicycles, golfcart, planes, parachutes and jetpacks, lack of fun activities to do
GTA 5: story is messed up, needs a good computer to run it, lack of accessible interior, file size is 100gb, arcady driving, die too easily, Can't recruit a gang like in gta san andreas
GTA Online: Shark cards
We can't swim as well in GTA IV. Surprises me because GTA IV is well-known for its physics and logic.
"needs a good computer to run it" lol no, GTA 5 can run on a potatoe ! Even in 2015 when the game was just released, I was running it medium 60fps on my old GTX 660 (a 2 years old card at this time)
"file size is 100gb" really not issue considering buying a 1TB SSD cost literally nothing nowdays, if you don't have enough space just uninstall some games.
"die too easily" Never heard of someone mentioning this, tbh I don't feel the game that hard (that's even the opposite).
"Can't recruit a gang" Well the game is not really centered around this plot unlike San Andreas where gangs/gangs wars drive a big part of the story.
Otherwise I agree for every others stuff you said.
To me, what I hate the most about GTA 5 is the map, this boring "potatoe" shaped map, with a big city at the south (Los Santos) and literally nothing at the north was a really bad design. It doesn't encourage exploration unlike San Andreas.
@@JustMatheus Oh we can. Unlike GTA3 and Vice City, Niko actually doesn't drown, when he ends up in the ocean. "WE CAN'T DIVE" might be, what you were thinking, but Niko surely swims pretty good.
Gta1's biggest downside was no save feature
Why wouldn't you want to travel the San andreas map!?
Yeah he was tripping the only think wrong was npc driving skills
What a shame GTA V and RDR II never had story DLC. They even respected story DLCs of the last game by executing Johnny K and his bike buddies and further attacking the Lost MC in GTA Online.
The point of that camera style in gta 1, London, and 2, was it's the view of the helicopter that watching you go on your rampage. Whether it's news or police is up to you. Eye in the sky chases were a staple of the 90s.
They should remake those first top down gtas after gta 6
@@otdreamer193 yeah if they do it let's hope they don't mess it up
No. We don't need remake those games.
Just replaying GTA SA for the 4th time: the worst part for me is the driving AI of NPCs ... they constantly drive into you often speeding up to end up in your way
I remember the day gta 5 was released everyone was saying “ I wonder what the single player DLC is going to like” yeah…🙃🙃🙃
I bought GTA 4 when it came out, but couldn't play it because my notebook was too weak. I cleared it away, even forgot that I have that game until a few weeks ago, now I can experience the adventures of Nico Belic the first time in my life! And as far, the game is great!
That's pretty nice.
The biggest problem with the older GTA games is physics being tied to framerate so the games shit themselves at more than 30 FPS
In San Andreas, instead of Taxi you can just go to the Airport and play 500$ to travel to other place
I don't care for vehicle customization because I usually end up crashing them 2 minutes after I get one.
In San Andreas: The Blackboard bug
Given that Rise FM exists in LCS as a nightclub, I really wanted to have accessible to it like the Malibu Club in VC. Also, gang recruitment is what I needed against the enemy.
6:01 But the GBA is super popular it had sold 81.51 million units across the world, including over 40 million units in North America.
It even had sold more than the PSP itself which had sold 80.79 million units across the world, including over 21 million units in North America.
@insert_username_here.6904 And the other gta games would've completely coverd on gta advance and it would've been very less popular
Here’s my reasons
GTA 3: No viewable map in the pause screen was such a big annoyance when it came to literally going anywhere in the missions
GTA VC: Literally nothing to do after you complete the game
GTA SA: the tedious drives from city to city for progressing the main storyline
GTA LCS: Just removing all the great features added from San Andreas. Like really? We can’t swim or fly planes?!
GTA VCS: my only complaint is that this game has never been released on any platform outside of the PS2 and PSP. I really want to experience this game again but can’t due to it never seeing another port
GTA 4: I felt like the map should have been bigger considering it was the first GTA game on the “next gen” PS3 and 360. I was disappointed when I got the game on launch to see they cut the country side areas out completely from the beta build
GTA TLATD: great story mode expansion but it didn’t do much to enhance the free roaming experience at all
GTA TBOGT: Yet again, great story expansion but didn’t do much to add new content in outside of the story.
GTA 5: The poor DLCs. For the past 10 years, we’ve only received new cars, clothing options, and properties across the online mode and nothing else. The “expanded and enhanced” version didn’t do anything to expand the world or enhance the gameplay and we never got the single player DLCs that rockstar once promised us
It's not just the lack of solo DLC for GTA V, it's specifically that they were promised but canceled and recycled as Online content
tbh i think the thing that sucks the most in gta lcs is the money. it's literally useless and you cant do anything by it except for buying weapons (which you can get in other ways).
literally when i do a side mission and the prize is just money i feel disappointed
@otdreamer193 i mean kinda. but for example in vcs you need the money to build your empire, there's something you're collecting money for at least. not to mention that you can buy bullet proof vehicles.
GTA IV can’t jump onto helicopter on next gen
Worst in gta 3 is not being able to dive out car and driving through st marks
GTA 4 I would say the police, they’re too easy until you get to five stars
GTA developers made some unbearable mistakes, like garages eating away your cars and Police meddlings during gang fights
Its weird that the flaw of san andreas made the map drawn in our memories
The motorcycle handling aspect in GTA 4 is what pissed me off the most.
Gta V, man😂 what i dislike is the combat sistem, the huge empty map, very few activities when you are with your friends, no girlfriend sistem... a lot of stuff (sorry for any possible grammar mistake, english is not my language😅)
That’s because ur playing story mode and not online it has way more features like the casino penthouses nightclubs heists and way more
@@MrWaffles_YT i played online and for a long time too, after some time it became boring, btw no hate at all
Why I hate about gta 4 is that most of the missions are chasing targets on vehicles. Then your safehouse is in one city, you need to drive a long way to another city to activate the mission and come back to the first city to execute the task.
7:09 20 years in a can, he compromised
So we're not gonna talk about how Chinatown Wars completely omits Alderney in the map for no discernable reason at all?
The reason is hardware limitation. The Nintendo DS wasn't that powerful and there was no in story reason to go there at all. Seems to me a good reason as any. Just remember poor PS3/Xbox 360 version of GTA V. The consoles the game was initially made for, like developed with them in mind and yet they ended up abandoned, discontinued. That's what pushing limits will do.
4:40 A real reasonable explanation is that Tommy is originally from Liberty City, where nobody bothers to learn how to swim, they'd rather make money and wade in a clean swimming pool than try to swim in LC's frigid liquid cancer. Can't forget Tommy had just been released from prison, being sent immediately to Vice City so people wouldn't start talking about past events that would cause trouble back in LC.
Our technology was still developing and new stuff was inventing, and Those games was released back then and there is no problem back then, every release of new gta game was a mind blowing to us just like gta 3 we dont demand a motorbike because there is no motorbike we never though about it until vice city was released it was a surprise and another mind blowing games then gta san andreas nuke our minds again and so on new game with good graphics more like an eye candy...lol
The real reason why there are no motorcycles in gta 3 was because in the manual of LCS States that moms were doing protests in the games story and claimed that motorcycles were killing their children and the mayor made a ban for them thats why they aren't in liberty city when 3 takes place
That's not the real reason, that's a retroactive excuse. Real reason is hardware/engine limitations and/or inexperience in coding. GTA 3 was the first game of its era (3D), so R* experimented at that time. Later games benefit from technological progress and what developers learned. Don't mistake an in story retroactively inserted excuse for the real reason, because that's not, how things work. There's no mention of any protests during GTA 3 and if an event as major as banning bikes took place, you would hear no end of it. So there it is.
Did he just said that GBA was unpopular? WTF
This was the longest short I've ever seen and I'm not mad.
I must admit, I'm never able to find save location in GTA 2. I tried my best to look for it for over a hour, but I just can't find it.
A pro tip: steal one of those radio vans, not sure what they're called, it's a van with a satelite dish/antena on top, that thingy will point towards the nearest church, where you save the game.
Bro did you forget about the train in SA ? That thing is GOOD at traveling long distances !
{ Off course if you go to the passanger wagon }
🤣🤣 this guy really said low popularity and Gameboy in the same sentence 🤣🤣. Educate yourself. And the VCS developers were Rockstar Leeds not Rockstar North who developed San Andreas.
Bruv, you just made yourself look like a clown
Disadvantage: No Non Urban areas Means No tanks.
Advantage: Beautiful APC
I actually enjoy travelling across the map in SA even after all these years, so that's not a problem for me at all. What I would pick as the worst thing in that game are the gang wars. They are great, don't get me wrong, I enjoy them and I wish they somehow get in GTA VI too, but the problem is that they are not as good as they could have been. The problem is how often are other gangs attacking your territories. They're so annoying and always happen in the most inconvenient times, and if you can't go to save your gang then you lose respect. And that sucks.
And for GTA V, I would say the worst thing is the plot. The game is great, I had hundreds of hours playing it, but the story was just goofy and silly. It made me laugh, of course, but it was just too much even for GTA humour standards. It never took itself seriously, like IV or SA did. And the villains were just absolute trash.
Algonquin is much further from Manhattan than shown in the picture. You had Manhattan going way up to Yonkers
Homie lost all credibility during the GBA Advance segment.
fast travel in GTA:SA was called stealing a plane
Another feature of the original, 2D GTAs that most will forget and significantly stricter than currently day GTA's;
_You Had Lives! No Infinite Respawns!_
*Your character could either die or be incarcerated! Busted & Wasted costed lives*
Imagine the higher stakes and gameplay influences if GTA brought back:
* Chapters: similar to RDR2, but also chapters being the starting base of a profile save like GTA 1
* Lives: Alternative endings where your character dies permanently or is sent to prison for life. Players would have to plan missions to ensure they can reach the next chapter or think about getting busted/surrendering over being wasted.
The only thing that sucked in GTA 3 and Vice City for me is our character not being able to swim, I really wanted to explore the ocean.
The two biggest flaws in GTA V are the lack of Single Player DLC and the Side Missions were pointless and offered no good rewards
Vice city stories and liberty city stories had that one bug that was only on psp (not on ps2). The garage glitch. For people that don't know that bug, let me explain. Basically garages in these two games were glitched. You would put a car/motorcycle inside the garage. Then you would save the game, do a few missions and puff ! Your cars/motorcycles are gone ! Even tho as I said earlier this glitch was only on the psp not ps2. There is a technic to prevent the cars/motorcycles from disepearing. I mean. Kind of... you can always try opening and closing the garage before saving or going on a mission which will prevent the cars from disepearing for longer but not forever. They will still disepear at some point. They ddin't even make up an excuse why the cars are disepearing like "pay attention at invisible theifs that will magically make all your vehicles disepear !!".
Gta1 is IMO the hardest GTA of all of them.
Cops are ruthless (despite only having 4 wanted levels, even at level 1 they will chase like their lives depend on it), and it's really easy to get a wanted level, they bust you just by touching you, 1 bullet kills you, or 4(i think) if you pick up armor, you cannot retry a failed mission, later areas require you to literally FIND the missions (no blips to tell you where they are), dying/getting busted a few times can net you a game over, and no - you cannot save between missions, you need to beat the chapter in one go. No minimaps, navigation points straight to the target, difficult controls etc all add up to make this gta the hardest one.. so yeah if you want some real challenge - try finding and beating that one with no cheats xD
Really wish Rockstar hopped onto the remake trend and remade Alot of the older games using the GTA 5 engine and gave us some new mechanics
GTA SA drawback is also a design choice, so you explore the map, it feels like a much bigger map than actually is
"gameboy advance was an unpopular system" what??? no way...
GTA Advance also released on the same day as San Andreas so it was always going to be overlooked by many.
GTA V should have been the online part of it. If not the online part, then the police shooting you at 1 star.
I see some here saying GTA 3 lacked motorcycles bruh this game was the first open world 3d game in history and wasn't even bad graphics because to this day you can play it on just hd resolution and still enjoy the game better than any new game
RS NEED TO REDO GTA 1 & 2 FOR HD🤔
The issue about San Andreas is easelly solved summoning an airplane or hellicopter or jetpack or using the flying cars cheat
I played GTA IV for the first time on my PC last month, and it would always lag all of a sudden, I thought maybe my PC was not good enough to handle the game, and so I downgraded the graphics, but now I'm finding out, it wasn't my PC. So thanks
something im also sad about GTA5 is the fact they removed San fierro and Las Venturas from San andreas, all we have now is Los Santos and The desert.. like wtf? i wish the two major cities were there too
They didn't removed them. In fact they never implemented them, they didn't even considered them for GTA 5 in the first place. I guess you're being convinced, that Los Santos in GTA V is the same Los Santos from GTA SA. Well, it isn't. See both are a parody of real life LA, but both being completely unrelated rendition of it. Like separate realities, that's what the whole R*'s ERA business is about. 2D era (GTA with London expansions and GTA 2), 3D era (GTA 3, GTA VC, GTA SA, GTA LCS, GTA VCS and GTA Advance) and HD era (GTA IV, with EfLC expansions, GTA Chinatown Wars and GTA V/Online, also including the upcoming GTA VI), those are separate from each other, so SA and V are different takes on LA. That's why Los Santos and Blaine County look so different from San Andreas. That's why the other major cities weren't even considered, R* wanted to focus on Los Santos and its surroundings in this game, not to recreate old San Andreas. For that one, there's remasters, or as they call it: Definitive Edition (whatever that may be).
