Hi Abby I'm a type 1. Dealing with the emotion of anger is certainly complicated just for the fact that anger is so messy, but if type 1s can use anger constructively or in a creative way its amazingly therapeutic for a 1. Me I like to dance out my anger and sing.
Yay! I hope you had fun making this video. (: These triads are the most intuitive Enneagram grouping in my opinion. My Mom, sister, and I each fall in a different triad as types 9, 5, and 2. It makes total sense for our strengths and struggle zones.
I'm a 5 through-and-through but don't struggle with anxiety. Definitely struggle more with anger, and the type 8 you described fits me so much more closely
@@spyroninja 5s go to 8s in strength and 8s go to 5 in stress, so it makes sense. Obviously I don't know anything about you and can't make a guess to your type, but what you said about anger caught my attention and reminded me of my own journey.
Not sure if you've learned about the stress and growth paths yet, but types 5 and 8 are connected in that way. (5 goes to 8 in growth and 8 goes to 5 in stress.) Obviously I can't say which of those applies to you, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case it would help explain some things! (Just editing this to add I wrote this before Karen's response showed up. I wasn't trying to repeat someone else, but if it works, hey I might as well leave it here.)
Another great video, Abs! Purple is definitely your colour 😍 I've struggled to find my enneagram type for the past 3 years. Thought I was a 4, tested as a 1w9, thought I was a 3, tested as a 1w2. Teetered between 1 and 3 for months. But something always felt "off". While triads did help confirm things, the core four (desire, fear, weakness, longing) was the key to finally unlocking my type: SO 4w3. Now it all fits and I'm on the right path to growth and healing. Thank you for all your great content! I don't think I would've found my type without your livestream workshop. Love how your channel has evolved from fun skits and parodies to a tight-knit growth and self-discovery community :-) Blessings XOXO.
Lmao, as a 3w4 I agree that I don't like feelings. I don't understand them and whenever I feel something it's all at once and it's uncomfortable, they feel uneasy. I prefer to put them apart and go on with the work. I am like "nah, I'm good, I'm doing great, let's just focus on work" because sometimes I don't understand if I'm actually fine. And yeah that is mainly sadness, because I feel a lot of anger actually. I do relate a lot to the phrases of the gut triad.
As a 4w3, yes, I feel alot, and I'm happy I do. I'm happy because I can also shut them down when I need to. I let myself feel everything unless they're getting in the way of something I value or desire.
Do 2s dislike 4s? 2s tend to treat me poorly in social settings. Are they competitive with 4s, or what is it? I don't want to be doing something that bothers them. ❤
There was another video of yours where I figured out 8s respond to things the way I would sometimes like to but don't, because it feels wrong to me (I'm a 1w9). This video pretty much confirms that. Thanks!
I indulged myself into the enneagrams as I took an interest I focused on the core desires and subtypes of course. I know I struggle with alot of bad mental health which a certain test marked me as fitting with the head triad but I grew really close to my desires and fears which I related to the 8w7. Occasionally I do doubt myself into a 1w9.
I'm a 9 and I do not experience very much anger anymore and when I do, I pretend it doesnt exist because i feel like that's a bad thing to do (And I'm scared of other people viewing me as a bad person)
Fantastic video! Your content always gets me thinking. Such as with this curiosity I have: how do wings affect a person’s experiences within their triad, if it does at all? Specifically pertaining to types who favor the wing outside of their triad. I ask because such a relationship between type and favored wing might be the biggest reason why I often second guess myself on whether I’m a 2 or a 1 at times. I hate being angry and see it as something “bad” only to immediately feel immense shame for it. Is this something similar border types feel?
For the longest time I thought I was a 4, 😅 came to realize I'm a 6. Although I still identify with the infp personality type and I'm prone to anxiety more.
Ooooh-we!
Feeling is my middle name, and learning to process shame is my game. ~4w5
Thank you for this rhyme 😂😂
Same girl. Also a 4w5 and I 100% agree.
I’m an 8. I wake up angry. But then I have coffee and life gets better… until my coffee is gone that is. Then I’m back to angry. 😂
😂😂
Same 😂

❤ read a great quote today that spoke to the type 6 in me:
"If you have the weakness to fall, you have the strength to rise."

Abbey, your videos have helped me understand the people who have wronged me and I can better take advantage of their insecurities. Thank you.
you're welcome! that makes me so happy that they have been valuable to you.

Interesting!! Thanks for sharing.
I thought I was a 5 for years before it finally clicked I'm an 8
@@karenwaitz3545 interesting, I definitely think I'm a 5 but behave more like an 8 when I'm comfortable and self-assured

“How can we look at this objectively?”
I just discovered the triads, as an 8 this explains a lot😂
Triads are the BEST
I always am confused because I am a 9w8. 9w1 has a ton of content explaining them, but not the 9w8

Cheers to you and all our emotional imbalances. ❤😂
After 5 years of therapy 😂😅 I am finally not suppressing my emotions and listening to/feeling them… but it’s hard ~an 3w4

9w8. I have all the intensity of an 8……. With the suppressing & repressing of the 9…. I never knew a balanced moment in my life. 😂
Sending you 🙏🏼 prayers

@Moondust I definitely feel his pain. 😫
Good job, Abbey!
Enneagram Triads… not to be confused with the Chinese Secret Society I’ve heard about. I’m a 5W6 and yes what you said about 5s is accurate.
I am confused now😅and I know this is good❤
I always wonder why Enneagram 4 isn't in the anger triad when I've heard repeated that Sexual 4s are the angriest type.

I just gonna comment out of the topic. I'm gonna say that you're look different Abbey, You're much pretty than before.
Hmm, justice rather than autonomy 😳

“What are we going to do about this?”
I can’t decide between 9,4,5 😢
Can you talk about subtypes please?
