Thank you for your message regarding matrimony. My question is if you're married before the judge and not in the church is God present in the ceremony? They say that if you're married in the church you are married before the eyes of God. I f you're married by the judge you are married before the eyes of man. What is the difference?

If you're Catholic, that is not a sacramental marriage, meaning you are not married in the eyes of God. Get the valid sacrament of marriage and get married in the Church.
