- We've arrived in La Union. We are staying at Oceanaire Glamping Resort located at Bacnotan Beach. First impressions were already amazing as they have very friendly staff and the accommodation is just a few steps from the beach.
But the high light of this experience was a Filipino Family from La Trinidad Benguet that were staying in the hotel literally adopted us giving us food, drinks, laughter and an UNFORGETABLE experience.
We even learned the Igorot traditional dance.
A big thank you to Mitsubishi Sucat & Gateway Motors group for providing us the Mitsubishi strada athlete to test and review it. This beast is absolutely amazing and it is soooo much fun to drive it! Especially on road trips like this. 🥰

You have been welcomed by one of decendants of the oldest original living tribes of the Philippines. I guess these people are of Igorot decent. From the mountain province. That is their traditional dance that they are doing. Youre so lucky !

La Union is on the top 10 major destinations of the Philippines. It's known to be the Surfing Capital of the North but for hosting 2 historic International Surfing Events last SEA Games 2019 and the recent World Surf League 2023, DOT and WSL solidified La Union as the "Premier Surfing Destination of the Philippines. Also the winners were both natives from La Union. Aside from surfing, it has a lot of tourist spots since La Union is very diverse with coastal, lowland and high mountain ranges.
