I think the reason they are showing Lucy doing undercover is because they want to show that it's not the job but the person who makes bad decisions in the job. And Lucy has always been mentally very strong and is always able to balance her work and relationships. This is to also show that Lucy considers Tim's feelings and gives them importance and has never doubled down under Tim's constant pushing even as a rookie, which Isabel clearly stated that she was unable to deal with Tim's high expectations. I think Lucy will do great as undercover. She's my favourite character
I think the other part is that she keeps him involved - like he's always kept in the loop to provide back up, which he wouldn't have had with Isabel at a different station. She's my absolute favourite too.
We are looking forward to their future. When they say “I love you” for the first time. When they get engaged. Their wedding and of course; when they have kids - which they have sort of been teasing in Season 5.
i think it’s so telling that he freaked out when lucy asked him if he was going to propose to ashley, but when chen mentioned grandkids on their second date he didn’t bat an eye 😂😂 and just went along with it. then when they were babysitting that kid around the station, they both kept mentioning their kids
I love this couple together, their scenes get funnier and funnier with every season! Plus you can tell that Lucy is a positive influence in Tim’s life! Look at the facial expressions he makes when they are together: he’s so relaxed and happy! ❤I cannot wait for them to get married! Tim knows she’s the one!! ♥️

This in a nutshell showed why I don't want Lucy going through with being a UC. The show has gone to great lengths to illustrate that it has royally fucked the characters who lived that life and their families. Tbh I kinda think Harper and to some extent Isabel are kinda pushing Lucy towards UC work because on some level they're hoping things will go well for her. If she can succeed without wrecking her life it means they didn't choose a life that guarantees the destruction of every relationship they had. If there's no possibility of a good outcome, the sacrifices aren't worth it. And I think Harper and Isabel are afraid to admit that their careers as UCs wasn't worth the price. Because if that's true then what's the point
Exactly, so it all depends on Lucy now to do UC work and succeed proving that it can be done and rid Tim of his fears, because he loves her to the point of fear and he needs her help to heal ♥

I thought it was just me. It was kind of annoying. Especially in the 2nd to last episode of season 5 when Lucy was just saying what she needs and wants to sleep for a whole day, be unnecessarily mentioned how Isabel did it.

But i think chenford should break up for like 2 episodes then lucy goes under cover, then they apologise and just after they get back together tim proposes. Aslo if they say I love you get married and find out their having a baby in less then 2 seasons the show will end quicker because we all know they carry the show even tho it is really good not just because of chenford.
