Don't beat yourself up, the enjoyability of these episodes isn't so much about how much you're accomplishing, rather just the joy of watching you experience these games we all love for the first time, keep up the great work!
Yeah pretty much this. We're just along for the ride. It's super important to put mental health over making content though. If ya need to take a break, just do it. You don't need to explain yourself or apologize. (Speaking at Mei obviously)
For Owl, you can dash through his dashing wide sword swipes like the ones where he throws the firecrackers and swipes through them as they explode (or when he throws a single shuriken and dashes at you with a swing) BUT you have to do it on the side of the sword and keep close to his body otherwise you'll get clipped. It takes some practice, but once you get the timing and the spacing down, you can get 1-2 free hits on him to chip away his vitality. HUGE vitality fight cause his posture recovers like crazy. You'll be no-hitting him in no time!!!
I think I've already written this several times, I envy your patience! After the fight against Owl (father) the best thing is a nice shower and then a nice cup of tea to relax. In any case next time it will be better, defeat, learning and only in the end victory.
"Attitude problem" 🤣I know the feeling! I've been waiting for you to hit a wall this whole time! You should be proud you got this far before getting stopped. 100% fun.👍
About the crouching by accident, it tends to happen in boss fights because we get tense and press the buttons harder than normal. What I do for bosses in Sekiro is remap "crouch" to where "eavesdrop" usually is. That way if you press the joystick too hard nothing happens, instead of crouching at the worst possible time lol.
This place is so tough and so brutal!! Like why are there so many enemies?? But you got this!! Already made your way to Owl! You jumping on the guy's bald spot at 59:46 was so hilarious cause I didn't expect his head to make that noise! He's a true metal head! 😂😂
1:22:13 just look at that assault and swift jumping dodge! Bam. Proof that we just had to have faith in your insane-o skills and adaptability! as frustrating as this all may be (and totally looks) it’s without question you are a fricking master
told u he is so fast for his age🙊my fav fight in this game, and his ost is something else😻💘 I loved all the rage moments😎 I've been missing this for a while u know😿 victory will be ours soon, no doubt✌💪lets gooo..
Favorite episode. Owl (Father) was an awesome fight on my 1st playthrough and I always enjoy fightin the Lone shadows, i find them very cool. As u said in the video, u just gotta get good. Learn from mistakes, be calm etc. U could beat Radahn prenerf, u can do Owl. Looking forward to the next episode 🙂.
15:25 Actually that is easier than you think. In my first playthrough I opened all 3 possible endings without any guides. Had some kind of ritual after opening a new area - check every important NPC and eveasdrop them if it is possible.
Next time he will taste the blade of Wolf! Do not feel bad about us, we enjoy each and every video you make, because it's not just the game, it's the person who plays the game that keep us coming back for more. We do enjoy all the back and forth between Wolf and the NPCs, and the little stories they tell you or the gossip they share among them. Owl (Father), my favorite boss. It's not that I like the difficulty. I mean, I do, but I didn't like Malenia or Radagon+Elden Beast. I like Owl (Father) because it asks you to engage with the combat deeper than any other boss, to learn to be patient, to react swiftly. These are two ninjas trying to kill each other and survive the fight, I can't describe how it made me feel when I finally defeated him. And you will beat him!
That episode was really intense! I was really impressed when you took on all these guys at the same time and even survived. 😊👍 I usually play it more cautious, taking out one after the other by stealth. 😂 Owl Father was the only fight I saw before I played as I missed the required dialogues on my first run. And when I saw it I only thought: OMG, how am I ever supposed to beat him? You got the first deathblow pretty fast. 👍
Yes, take a well deserved break. It's very important at times! While you didn't get the results you wanted you had a tremendous amount of patience and worked very hard today. You will come back and be victorious no doubt!
i enjoyed this so much! you exploring the ending you aim for and just peacefully talking to NPC's. (this ending and the ending when you join owl are the best in my opinion). then the chaos began with hirata estate. in short: ... f*** lone shadows! i also hate them. just one advice with them: you can mikiri the kick with the warning symbol they do at the end of a combo. and this area has some DS2 enemy placement, its just tedious to kill all the small mobs, run back, backstab the smaller guy, then run back, backstab the drunkard. all this so i could fight him. and this is twice in the game! 🙈 owl father was for me an obstacle i seemingly cannot overcome. but now he is one of my best fights in the game. its like a perfect dance. you have to answer his special moves always the same way and take the ''lead'' when he does normal attacks. like you said aggressiveness is they key. you got this!
It took me over a month to beat the final boss and Sekiro is the only souls game I don't have a platinum trophy. Struggling with Owl is completely normal :) That Lone Warrior guy, with dogs, his long wind-up thrusting kicks can be countered with Mikiri
If you need more persimmons (not the serpent flesh things), you can farm them from the monkeys near the temple pool, down the slope where the broken bridge is. I ate mine the first time (oops). You cant platinum this game in one playthrough - because Shura gives you a very cool combat art. But i tried the first time. It was a LOT of grinding and running around, but it was fun. I really want a sekiro 2 or a game with the same combat because, once mastered, it is, in my opinion, the best combat system ever put into a game. The sheer variety of how you can fight in this game is amazing. For the best skills in the game, make sure you have all of the skills at the right hand end of each skill table. I wont give any spoilers but that helps a lot in end game. Out of interest, do you have the umbrella? The upgraded vermillion umbrella shields you from terror. Also, you can whack people with it! Ps the trick to fighting the assassins - the purple guys - is to just run around the back of them when they do the kicks, then slash away. Especially when they do that high jump kick. Rinse and repeat. My favourite sekiro move is to run around an opponent, slide into an attack then spin away. It looks very cool. Sekiro is a bit different to other fromsoft characters because he can run a lot faster while locked on, so you can - literally - run around enemies. You can kite masanaga down the stairs then puppet the guys on the bridge to fight him. Its funny to watch but it doesnt work very well. What does work is using your own whistle on masanaga’s dogs.
Dont know if you saw my comment in the last episode. If you sit at the idol and choose Travel, you can press the Y button. I'm sure you will like what you see there as it is really beautiful. 😊 I bet most players miss it as it is not that obvious.
getting ashina cross skill is not useful if your not using it, you miss so many good skills in the other skills tree, uchimunji is a lot better than ashina cross. Dont worry, you are about the finish the game without using any skills and you didn't use any of the prostetic upgrade, if you want to use uchimunji double, you need to select it and do 2 uchimunji attack, one after the other

Hahaha! I was soooo exhausted after all the craziness going on in Hirata Estate... 😂 We'll beat his ass!!

Great job with the bosses, love watching you play this Meiru
Thank you Hollow! :))
halfway through the game now 🙂 you can do this mmeiru 🙂

Oh I totally forgot to check that! I try to remember the next time. :))
You've done so well❤
Thank you :))
request some rice from the child, you unlock the best healing item in the game
i think owl (father) is harder than the end boss because he have so many hp and take so much time to put him down
you can fight this guy with 10 flasks 10 necklaces and a few more damage upgrade, it help a lot
We'll beat his ass!

we all did the same mistakes, there so much to learn about this game if you want to get really good
