ROFLMAOOOO aw... love the Island/Maori humour! Who ever wrote this skit, absolutely funny!!!! "Jandals.... what is this, it's not the market" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 "If we run out of tin foil at the reception" bahahahahahahahaha dyiiiiiing!
*random comment from the other side of the world*... ...this is fantastic! We have such similar shit going on here in Germany at weddings with families who don't really like each other, especially if they are from different areas of the country and speak a different dialect...It's so similar as in this sketch, although I think that many Germans wouldn't even keep up the fake-friendly smalltalk just to be nice after a while, brutally direct & honest as we often are...lol xD Seriously though, we've had some pretty similar comedy skits here on German TV in the past. The Maori lady is super awesome by the way. Great actress!! The Samoan lady is great too!
Most definitely😂 Maori think they're better than every nation on the planet 🌏 even our own Maori are Maori up themselves 😂 Two faced😂 Maori are show-offs car, house, jobs, money, Maori are also kind, loving and caring 💖
Actually, that is not funny at all. The cultural backstabbing is indicative of the underlying classism, racism and internalised racism, amongst many multicultural groups throughout societies such as Australia, America and New Zealand. Comedic expression would make light of the cultural rivalries which exists in almost all multicultural societies. It is healthy for improving ourselves through critique. Too much of the open hostility and cultural cringe negativity leads to open conflict, which does occur now and again. It is good that this comedic skit has illustrated the true attitudes of many people throughout society. Thanks for this cultural cringeworthy skit about ourselves.
This is hilarious because it's so true. Them islander mums do exactly this! 😂😂

i've never known people who are more hardcore with their culture as the Maori people....lol it's a good thing.... just saying
It is always a good thing to have pride in your culture. Not just Maori are hardcore but many others as well.
All cultures are precious about it. Protecting customary traditions and rights of passage. God is above all things.
