An excellent overview! Thanks very much. I like the depth of the coverage for each game: you spent just the right amount of time on each game and covered a lot. Thanks very much.

This was the perfect video for me, as a grownup who grew up playing Mousetrap so often the mouse started calling in sick, and who only recently discovered solo gaming. Many thanks for your excellent suggestions! I am currently playing: Cat Crimes, Super-skill Pinball (roll & write) and Ubongo (tetris-like). My next game will probably be Turing Machine, (deduction game using an analog computer).

If you like Dog Crimes, try Cat Crimes--same game, different crimes/cats. I love it! My cat, however, is puzzled when I occasionally yell "BAD kitty" and he's just been laying there.

I spent a good week going through all the puzzles on a game I picked up at Barnes and noble called rush hour, it had a nice tactile element with moving the cars around until they all got unstuck

Just what I was looking for as I didn't have the vocabulary for those types of games. Thanks!

Thanks for watching. I think these games deserve more coverage. They’re a big presence in toy shops, and they’re very closely related to board games, but we tend to forget they exist!!!
Hope you get a chance to try my logical deduction game Zooligans :)

As a solo player, I have hundreds of board games and over 100 puzzle games.
Love logically thinking so,after a few rounds of Calici, I choose a Thinkfun or Smart game and relax!
Yes, I play electronic Chess but that is taken seriously and requires a special day 😊

Thanks for another fascinating vid. After watching, I bought Haba's "The Key" which was only £7 on amazon. Had a lot of fun with this the last few days. Reminds me of "Logic Problems" in the Q-activity puzzle books in the 80s

Just looked it up. It looks fun - probably too similar to Gigamic’s Difference to own both? (Not a game I would play often I suspect).

@@AdaminWales I can find Mindo almost in every shop, but I always though about it as a game for small kids like alphabet cubes thing :)

@@NePosas Yeah. Mindo is probably more for kids than adults. Still has some challenge to it though.

Hey Adam, love all your videos, just wanted to mention (as a video professional here) that I think your wireless mic is either off or incorrectly connected. It sounds like your camera mic is what we’re hearing in your wide shot here, because the audio is echo-y and distant-sounding. Try checking your sound levels prior to recording, and make sure your lav mic is working correctly. Thanks for making such great content! Hopefully that helps with your audio somewhat.

Thanks for the advice Michael - yes, I’m not at all camera/mic savvy. I bought a decent camera and mic some time ago, but ended up selling it on after struggling with it and returning to using an iPhone! The mic is wired & its temperamental. I don’t think the lack of a headphone socket on an iPhone helps (it has an adaptor). The dilemma is really that I purely make these videos as a hobby, and don’t want to spend any money on fancy equipment!
