A very informative video as always Amit bro with two minor corrections :-
    1) We can never see the far side of the moon from the earth, not even during a Solar eclipse.
    2) Far side of the moon is more heavily cratered than the near side.
With best wishes to ISRO for the upcoming landing on this heavenly body.

I think we can’t see far side of the moon even during eclipse. Moon is tidally locked with earth (meaning rotation time of moon coincides with its revolution around earth). During eclipse we can’t see moon, since there is zero/no reflection of sunlight. But the side which faces earth is the same one.

One factor you should consider is that the near side of moon will be very hot on account of continuous exposure to sun. At poles, the incidence of sunlight will be minimal. If ever human habitation is set up on moon, it will be concentrated at the poles, especially the southern pole which is more level field.

They say when chandrayan landed on moon at shiv Shakti point or near the South pole it is day time to that area so they have 14 days in the light to do work. But on 23 aug when chandaryan landed its half moon to thr earth its like waning moon . And 30 aug 2023 is full moon day. So i think on moon on 23 aug where its going to be morning time is visible to earth as its half moon.
    There are two doubts
is South pole is visible to earth or not ? If not visible then
There is noon time near the South pole and on full noon 30 aug there is night near South pole

As long as it's just to recreate rare earth metals and not extract them. Any alteration to the magnetic ore body of the moon would be disastrous to earth.

I'm not sure how going to the moon is going to help us "recreate rare earth metals", but the mass of the moon is about 73,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg - we'll never mine enough from it to matter.

We should not run away from India and work for some foreign country. We should try to make our Country the best in every subject 🙏

The first reason is war and population. Something can be done with moon for space travel and other oppertunities for exploring beyond. Because human survival is critical than politics.

4:18 is this correct? Far Side never face the Earth isn't it?

Your title picture is incorrect. South pole of moon is always away from earth. So left side of the picture is incorrect where it shows south pole closer to earth than north pole. Please correct it.

I observed your pitch in this video was higher than usual. Felt odd.

@4:25 the diagram is not correct sir, we from earth can see only one side of the moon, because of synchronous rotation of the moon around itself with respect to the rotation with earth.
