I am totally new to this and would just like to say that you are brilliant at explaining and making the jungle of Investing so much easier to understand. I have watched several other videos and gave up as I just could not grasp the information. I also think the fact that you ensure your videos are broken down to small amounts of time really helps the novice like me to digest what you are putting across. One last thing I love your drawings and easy examples to get your point across. Please keep this up. I look forward to starting a portfolio some day soon.
Man I freaking love your videos. The way you explain it in layman terms is what makes it more to the point and understandable. I have literally wathed tens of videos where the presenter starts explaining about bonds/options/ETFs without even a freaking mention of what in the world they mean. I love your videos!!!! Subscribed!! :-)))
I used to get so intimidated by the world of investing since I didnt understand it at all. I thank you for breaking it down to small manageable chunks so we can understand it better.
It looks like you've got something funny going on with interlacing in your video. It's easier to see at lower quality levels, but still noticeable at higher ones. You can see it clearly whenever you move your hands. A simple fix might be to add a de-interlacing filter at the end of your pipeline, but it might also be useful to figure out where it's getting introduced. Admittedly, in the grand scheme of things, it's not that big a deal. I liked this format for the terminology video, but really liked the whiteboard format for calculations and comparisons. Glad to see you're continuing the series either way!
Hey Matt - thanks for the comment. I hadn't noticed that before. Admittedly, I haven't really paid attention to things like the frame rate I record in versus what I export it at - and other settings - but I'll do some research to see if it's something I can tackle. Cheers! *update*: Looks like there are some settings in FCPX to remove interlacing I can try. We'll see how that goes shortly as I'm filming the next video today or tomorrow.
I wish I found your channel first when I began investing back in April lol. Would have saved me so much time in learning. I just found this channel recently and I'm definitely going to recommend it to new investors in the future
Thanks - I think this format will be easier for me to push out content more quickly. The whiteboarding (which I'll still use occasionally) is quite tedious at times.
Hooray! I love these video's and seeing this pop up again in my subscription is like a happy surprise. The old format was more clean but there is nothing wrong with the new format. i could imagine its easier to manage and this change is for the best. I don't know what your situation is, but if you keep producing content I will always come back! great video!
Thanks Mateo. I'll probably experiment with a few different formats over time. The whiteboarding probably lends itself better to certain explanations, and this format to others - so, I'll keep focusing on what is best for learning and hopefully the variety helps both the viewer, and me. It's probably two hours of work per minute of video, roughly. But that should come down as I get more proficient. Thanks for sticking with the channel!
Wow I've never seen such clear and helpful explanations on investing! You are amazing ! New subscriber and excited to continue learning on your channel ! Keep up the good work! Blessings ! ❤💫
Really enjoying your video series. Great presentation style and pacing. Have shared with my adult siblings and our children too. Big thank you from New Zealand :-)
the background looks like he's in a white void but the lighting on him makes it look like he's in a sweaty attic where he's set up a flashlight on a cardboard box pointing directly at his face
@@PreetBanerjee to be not snarky and negative for a quick second, everything else about this video series is excellent, and I've learned a lot from them. It's just that I've also learned in another video to use an upward pointing fill light to soften shadows cast by a bright or un-diffused primary light to avoid the "using on-camera flash in a dingy basement" look.
My dad tried explaining it to me for 20 mins straight and i couldnt understand it, but you make it easier to understand its just some parts are still confusing to me iim 16 btw and i wanna start a business and invest and just make money so i can live a good life my goal is to go to college for business and get a masters but i just have so much to learn like financial management and being financially independent but i just dont know how to get into it all i need money to make money and investing takes time but maybe by the time im done with college i'll have a good amount but at the same time i don't wanna get in dept with college and if i get in dept how will i start a business i just got so many questions im still trying to learn it all
I've been consciously trying to keep the content in this series globally relevant, so everything to date should be pretty universal, even beyond western cultures.
You make it so easy to understand. That's a sign of a great teacher. Thank you so much. You have been missed
Thanks lilac - I'm glad that you stuck around.

I'm so glad you're back. I really missed your videos. I learned so much from you just by watching your content. Thanks for that!
Thanks man!

Finally
Wow !!!
Is terminology relatively universal across western cultures? Would North American definitions be the same in let's say... England....
I've been consciously trying to keep the content in this series globally relevant, so everything to date should be pretty universal, even beyond western cultures.
It goes out of its way to confuse the shit out of you UNNECESSARILY. ROFL :D :D
Damn man! Is it that easy 😅
