This is not government project and it's not funded with government money.
This project is a church project and if you don't like it, you can also start something to create jobs. It's a free world.

Building churches does nothing for the community it only impoverish people and put them in servitude existence. You listed all the wealthy people in the world and I agree with you that they don't believe in God but they are wealthy.
Wealth has nothing to do with religion. Wealth has a principle and even a mad man can become wealthy by applying those principles.
The church project is progressing with or without your money so why giving yourself a headache?
They didn't ask you to donate so give yourself peace of mind. The demons in you just hate anything that advance the work of God's people.
If the pastor use the money to buy jet for personal use, you will complain. He is using the money to build a place for public comfort to fellowship with God, you are still complaining.
If you don't like what the pastors are doing, start your own ministry and be a good example.
