That was a perfect hit, to avoid significant damage to lower rails, condenser, radiator, intercooler. Not even need a frame machine, or porta power to pull/align. Lucky guy I would have to bag/label all the hardware in disassemble to remember where it goes. My luck never as good, end up having to align parts, pound core support with wood block, shim/slot a hole now and then 😁. A hustler stick, monkey on a stick jack, tram guage, and porta power hydraulic ram set, make money, and drive nice cars all day with these type repairs. 👍 Good Job.
I had similar type of damage (minus frame rails). I pulled out the upper frame like you did but didn’t had anything to measure but now my new hood has a slight gap on both sides… any suggestions? Do I need to get the upper rail/arms properly aligned?

Are you the frame and all components were straight ? These kind of accidents can have a lot of hidden damages ? Either way, looks to be a good job.
