How to connect Your steering controls on the android player is all explained in this video
Good demonstration. I had the same issue that you mentioned regarding misaligned guide lines and false distance warnings.
Solution: The camera is supposed to be installed at an angle almost 45 degree from ground level.
Steps to position camera and calibrate:
1. For perfect accuracy, park your car in a level place.
2. Draw 4 parallel lines from your car bumper (inline to cam position) with 1ft distance between each line.
3. Now position the camera and check in the screen to align the guide lines and fix camera accordingly - Red dash line for 1 ft, yellow for 2 feet , green for 3 feet.
4. Fix the camera.
Now the guide lines and distance warning will be 100% accurate. You can very much rely on it for reversing or turning without having to turn back at all.
I'm buying tiago xt(O) with same infotainment system. Did tata dealer get the camera guidelines adjusted during delivery ?
Also any suggestion to choose blaunpunk or crosslink

First of all THANK YOU for all honest reviews you have done wrt Nexon and matters related to it. I have one important question. What if tomorrow some issue occurs in your Nexon and the service center denies warranty stating that you have done some electrical work after market which caused the issue and also show you some cutting wire as evidence.
This particular touchscreen is provided by Tata showroom itself nowadays

Hai sir, your video was very knowledgeable. I have recently take 970 -10.1 inch for Nexon latest High end model. But I am unable to get Bluetooth voice while calling. Service engineer didn't connect a separate MIC. I cannot find any MIC avaiable in the box also. Can u please help in this regard .

Well it all about choices what one goes for. But do you think going for a sunroof is advisable for a country like India where temperatures are higher, we have heavy rainfall. Given the size and space in the car only one person can stand. It's better to go for either XM or XZ and XZ+ depending on budget. The added features of Sunroof, Autosensing wipers, Auto Headlamps and Steering mounted controls in XMS is only a customer attraction and selling point but from practical point of view not a wise option to choose

Boot up takes a while, so what about reverse camera display time, does it take equal time or its instantaneous? I mean can we get to see the reverse camera display before the system boots up or we need to wait for the system to completely boot up before it starts displaying the reverse camera?
Reverse camera starts immediately even if not booted up completely
Does this music system change the quality of base which comes with inbuilt harman system?

Hi Brother. I heard that once we modify company fitted Harman sound system with Blaupunkt Key largo sytem. The harman original sound quality will go low. Becase Harman is company fitted and Blaupunkt is after marjet.
Kindly suggest is it real?????

I don’t seem to have any difference in audio quality it’s very good. It didn’t feel like low anywhere.
Sometimes these factors also depend on the audio file quality played. 128kbps mp3 files and a 320kbps mp3 files have huge difference in terms of audio output.
it’s all coupler to coupler fitting so there are very less chances of loosing quality

I have already installed the Blaupunkt music system in my Tata Nexon 2021, but now it is experiencing issues during boot-up; it only displays the logo without showing any menu or other functionalities. How can I fix or reboot this issue.
One big drawback I see is that its android 9 which is already 4+ years old. When google maps & youtube gets more updates in the future, theres no guarantee that it will work without glitches on an old operating system. Speaking from my experience of using an android 9 tablet in 2022.
If we choose to install this player from local car accessories shop, does that affect/void electric warranty of car?

The harsh truth is that these all andoid system manufactured by same company, its just the difference of logo, if a company made their saperate product, then they made them to look different, but these all are same in design, dimension, performance and even if you check out there kernal and software info, you will find it the same.
Sirji, please consider changing your rear camera position.... the park assist lane lines are going up in tha air. Also your explanation was too good 😊. Keep Vloging. Please tell how the inbuilt navigation works in Blaupunkt ? What is the role of mSD Card in it ? Is the mSD card exclusively given by Blaupunkt with extra fee?
You only get the slot, nothing else.
For inbuilt navigation you have to download the maps OFFLINE into the SD card and then place the card in the slot
What about sound quality as compared to original haraman system? And kya buttons or parking sensors work kar skte h can bus use krke

When we have manual ac.
You have levels instead of temperature reading displayed. XMS variant doesn’t come with auto AC.
To give an advice I need to know more about your query. Like are you asking how AC impacts the mileage of the car ?
@@TechnoroidsIndia no no. I drive the Nexon EV. Details like temperature, mode, fan speed, throw direction, etc. are shown on the screen and can't be identified on the buttons and knobs. So my doubt is that if we install using a CAN bus would those details be shown on this Blaupunkt screen?

@@RajuMandala1 u search for your state(Kerala,Karnataka etc) once in the map search field. This I think will load your state map. After that using 'directions' option type in your current location address instead of given 'your location' and a destination address. It should start navigation

For Key Largo 970, while installing Amazon Prime music, the steering mounted control along with Screen (next) button doesn't works. Although with default media player everything works fine.
Any solution?
I have got this installed from showroom itself, whenever i press horn, the screen startes reducing the column down button, and keeps pressing for some time.
Similar when i press volume down button from steering, it keeps pressing from screen and makes player unable to use.

Plz tell if it is good for basic usage like radio, bt audio & reverse camera output. As my father drives the car mostly and dosent need navigation much. I know that being android things are laggy but my concern is basic usage should be fuss/lag free. How will be the longetivity if used carefully. Or should i go for Sony Ax8000 coz they are non andriod. Do answer my query.
For daily use it’s all good
It’s only laggy when open UA-cam or google maps on it. Camera quality is quite decent.
If your use is basic then you can rethink about investing in it as you might get other options that suit your needs and may cost cheaper

Sir, I have fitted it with Canbus in my XMA Nexon. My driving starts with reversing. When I reverse, the reverse camera screen pops up and goes back to 'android system starting' screen. How do I avoid this till reversing is over?

No I have not installed alloy wheels
You can cross check the alloy wheels price with the showroom cost. If not much of a difference they get it done from the showroom itself. As the build quality of the alloys make a difference. Cheaper ones can get you into serious trouble on any uncertain situations
i have installed the same....but problem i face is whn the usb music plays for a 15 mins its get stopped... is it due to connection error...or is the device faulty... the rest all plays fine...videos.. radio..online

mere paas xm hai, bought it a few days before xms was announced...sadly...i don't have steering controls,and the dashboard controls don't work with this system...pretty useless for me, i think I'll install a hypersonic or something with canbus...itna paisa kharchne ke baad bhi dashboard controls don't work....its good that you have steering controls.... otherwise it would have been a really bad deal
so the deal here is ,
you can still use the dashboard control with the use of a canbus with cost around 3k extra.
what you can go for is upto you.

It was not available when I installed. And yes it’s now available at most of the places. Enquire this before you get installed from any vendor

Blaupunkt will give more options in the equalizer tab to customise the output as per your needs

As I have installed same system on my new Aura car. But he told he can’t use the original MIC installed on top of the driver sit bcoz if he will use the original then he need to cut the wiring, so the warranty will void. Is this ture?
Wire cutting are never good for your car.
When it comes to voice commands. Its still not a practical implementation in our daily city travel chaos. Just an opinion.

For navigation internet is required or not
2 ways you can do it
1. Using mobile internet as your hotspot
2. Using SD card NAVi Sync option. For which you have to install these maps on your card and then put it on the SD car slot placed on the top backside of the key largo 970. You can search on how to use it online.
In my car I am more comfortable using the mobile synced internet and I use with the google maps app

It will. But blaupunkt is good quality and hence not much difference. If you go for hypersonic, then definitely it's bad.
Quick question, I have updated my SWC controls and it worked but as soon as i close my car and came back, all controls are lost. I need to do setup again and again. Is something that is missing while configuration?
Save the settings once you set it. If the problem persists then contact the person who installed the player for your car

Showroom people took 35k without steering control. Didnt give back the original Harmon Kardon system they had said initially while booking that they would return and I could use it in my house. They didnt give anything in return

How is the highway stability on the smaller tyres?
As per Indian road conditions a 16 inch wheel is not small anywhere. As per the car dimensions these 16 inch tyres are perfect. Stability is excellent as far as you don’t cross your limits
