    Thank you for this video!!
I waited 2hrs but managed to get myself a ticket today!
    Advice for others:
    - Queue up earlier than the actual ticket release. I started queuing 30min before and had ~3000 people ahead of me. But when I tried queueing on my phone 5min after the ticket release, there were ~10000 people ahead of me.
    - If you get "Access denied" keep refreshing. But don't spam the refresh button.
I was afraid to hit refresh so I kept going back to the calendar and choosing a new date/new time but never got past the "Customer Information Registration" page (seen at 4:50). Eventually I just continued refreshing and the next page would eventually show up.

Did you have to make a Lawson web member account or can you just buy the tickets from the English Lawson site as a guest?

Video a little bit outdated concerning the reservation part but the screen shown are still the same, so it is still useful to prepare yourself.
I just managed to get tickets on the 10/07 for August, so I can share my experience with the reservation:
There is now a queueing system in place, it is in the first-come, first-served basis.
I entered the site a bit before 9:30am JST and I got the message that I have been place in the queue. I was afraid to be kicked out out the site because of no activity, so I kept on refreshing the page, looking back I don't think it was necessary nor did it have an impact on my queuing number.
At 10am, I got my queuing number: 4099 and my estimated waiting time: "more than 1 hour". You can see the queue progress, the system (queuing number and time) is updated very 5 min or so.
I entered the reservation page at about 11:30am. I would say the tickets were 50% sold out, 30% low availability, 20% available. My first choice were on the low availability, I needed to book 3 tickets but I got the message that my requested number of ticket is too high compared to the availability. I still got my second choice which was on the available status (super happy).
I am not sure at what time the queuing system open but I would strongly recommend you to enter the reservation site about 2 hours before. I would have rather wait 2 hours before 10am, securing myself the tickets, than wait 2 hours after, risking to not have a choice or no ticket anymore.

Thank you!! This method worked for my husband and I ❤
We've just bought our tickets! We purchased tickets online (out of Japan), and it worked!!
Anyone asking about updates. Keep in mind the following:
When you get to the page on the 10th - 10 am japan time; the page will crash multiple times..
But we never gave up!! We kept trying; both of us, each one on a different PC.
After an hour and 10 minutes, it finally worked!! And booking dates were still available!!❤
So never give up and keep trying 😍

Transportation is worth a word. If you take the train out there, there's a bus you have to take to get from the station to the museum. It's on a loop route, but it's not specific for the museum. The trip out is relatively short, but the trip back to the station is quite long.

Or you can get off at Kichijoji Station and walk through Inokishira Park which is a nice walk if the weathers good. If you really want to take the yellow bus that departs from Mitaka.

I've just bought my tickets. It took me 40 minutes. The trick was having 2 computers. 1 making the queue and checking the time from the Japanese website. 2 seconds before I entered from my 2nd pc. (From which I reached a closer number in the line) The difference in the waiting list from the 2 computers was more than 5000 people ahead.

How old is this method? Cause OOF! The process now for 2022/2023 is impossible for a foreigner (at least for someone in the US). Can't get any tickets unless you know someone who lives in Japan, which I don't. 😭
