Well Fasting came from the Word of GOD. It's ancient. JESUS fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. Moses Fasted 40 days and others fasted not just for losing weight, but getting mentally stronger against the devil. And spiritually stronger. We are Spirit that has a soul and body. So when your soul and sprit gets stronger then your body will be also. So that's why she stated that you just have to be strong minded. I am taking my fast day by day, actually in 10 day increments. My first 10 days I lost 17 lbs, my glucose today on day 12 is 84, my keytones are 6.1 and my blood pressure is 123/80. Still doing my bullet coffee with just a little Ghee, MCT and fermented Tumeric. Green tea, water with ACV, Lemon slices, some exercise and an hour of infra-red sauna each night. I am adding electrolytes twice a day in my water and tea. I only weigh on the 10th day. Started at 260 will not stop until i get into the 200 to 205 range and I may decide to continue after that. When I come off, I will do bone broth for 1 day, carnivore for 2 and then back on another 10day.
That’s a great breakdown, that’s what I did too,taking it 10 days at a time makes the goal look smaller and helps you achieve a bigger goal all together.. You have it all figured out and I’m wishing you all the best.. towards the end of my fast, I had bone broth every evening and still lost weight. I did this to stretch my fast as I was not ready to refeed yet.. just in case you need that 💕
Congratulations! I am on day 4 of a maybe 20 day fast but this is the longest I have ever gone. I am surprised I've gotten this far. I need to lose a lot of weight. lost 60 and gained 30 back during the 2 years of covid but now trying to kickstart a 20lb weight loss. The first 2 days were hard with the stomach grumblings but it has settled down now. I really want to succeed like you! You are inspirational!
Thanks love 💕 the first 2-4 days are usually the hardest, before your body switches to burning fat for fuel.. and once you have that momentum, ride it and don’t break your fast until your body says so.. wishing you all the best
That's the genius of fasting... You learn what is best for you. I drink my coffee with favored cream but no sugar cause sugar is too sweet for me. I vary my fasting schedule and don't keep up with the windows by only eating when I am hungry. So if I get hungry but can't stop to eat I just extend my fast. If on the other hand I only have 10 minutes to eat then I eat in 10 minutes. Sometimes people get hung up on whether it's a clean or dirty fast but I look at it like this there are all types of fast: clean/dirty, dry/ water, juice/fruit, veggie only/meat only, IF, OMAD, ADF and so many eating/fasting windows and no one is the same. Take your time, do your research and find out works best for you and your body. It's all trial and error. Fasting is NOT a diet. It's a lifestyle change. Fasting is learning to eat less. In America we overdose on food, eating too much and too often. Remember information (applied knowledge of what works for you) is the key. From there gleam what helps you reach your goals and throw out the rest.This is a marathon and a lifestyle change or you will be right back here trying to do a quick fix. Don't beat yourself up for slip ups. Just reset and start again. Detoxing and learning how to live differently isn't easy but well worth it.

Omg, 50 days of water fasting? That's crazy. You're really strong to be able to last that long. *bow Edit: I also started water fasting myself since 2-3 days ago. I'm on my 64 hours water fast and already lost 11 lbs (5 kg), i went from 266.7 lbs (121 kg) to 255.7 lbs (116 kg). Well, it's probably more like water weight that I lost but the fact that i was 5 kg lighter than 2 days ago still make me happy
@@missjudy9911 i lost 19 lbs in 7 days (yay!), i already break my fast but i found out i keep getting nauseous and got the urge to vomit everything if i drink plain water. Is this the common problem?i tried to search it up on the internet and it's probably due to my rapid weight loss that can cause problems in my gallbladder because my liver overwork it when they turned my fat into energy. I don't really know tho but the feeling is uncomfortable and i had to be careful. I drink honey ginger tea to reduce my nausea but sometimes i vomited without having anything in my stomach 🥲
Gorgeous before and after but it is amazing how much losing a little can bring out your features :) I keep stopping and starting my fasts so not seeing the results I want. THanks for the motivation
@@lee-rahno I had to stop and wean myself off of medication. I’m currently on 6 days with plans to go 60 days. So far no hunger or cravings! I’ll update once I make it to my 60th day
Great work! Fasting is not designed for weight loss quickly. Weight comes off fast at first but then slows down. And then too, it depends on how overweight you are to start. If you’re way up there weight comes off fast at first. And you weren’t way up there, so you did real good to lose 40 in 50 days.

I’m doing liquid diet. I’m so inspired by your water fast. I’m doing 4 to 10 days for my liquid fast. I’m trying to do a long as possible. Hi, I wanted to tell you that you are doing a great job and are so encouraging. I immediately subscribed and will continue to follow your story. I am currently fasting and on a 5:2 schedule. After my 50th birthday this week, I plan to gradually increase my fast to do a 2-week fast, refeed 6-7 days, then a 21 day fast and refeed for 7-10 days, 30 days fast and refeed for 12-15 days, 40 days fast and refeed for 16 -20 days. These are "my best laid plans". So, pray for me. The refeed is super important as to not damage our body especially when fasting is supposed to help us heal our bodies. It can actually be more detrimental to our health than the fast itself. Super scary. I follow Dillon Holmes from Well your world and he has been to a facility that has been medically fasting people for over 30 years. The majority of us can't afford to go to such a facility, but we can benefit from the information that's out there. In this video he accounts his time there and shows a paper they received for refeeding on an extended fast. I hope this helps someone. I have fasted In the past obviously but I would have bone broth and premier protein shakes(150 calories/no sugars) I was going to do the protein shakes but after finding you here on utube I feel it just make more sense to truly detox my body. Great video. Thanks. How do you keep ur hunger down or away... currently I doing intermittent fasting for weight loss but my hunger levels are high if you know what I mean. I use apple cider vinegar but it helps to a point. Any ideas on what will help me and what has helped you? Thanks
I’m not well versed with intermittent, and those hunger levels are the key reason I opt for extended fasting, because the ginger completely goes away. But for you it could be something as simple as keeping your mind buddy, since you are already doing everything.

@@Amal-rj2uo Hey Amal, electrolytes water is just water with minerals added such as potassium, sodium etc. If you don't have electrolytes water available in your area, just buy mineral water such as Nestle and you'd be good to go since it has already added minerals in it😉 that's what I'm using actually a different brand, but just regular mineral water and occasionally I add salt to the water, it helps with headaches. I've also been taking 1 chai after every 2 days. I'm almost done with day 4, just a few hours left , planing on doing 10 more days (2 weeks fast) so wish me luck🤞we got this!

Electrolytes To meet the recommended allowances for electrolytes you need: 1. Three teaspoon of sea salt or Himalayan salt * Note: some authorities recommend 3,000 mg or greater of sodium per day. For 3.400 mg you would need two teaspoons rather than three. 2. Potassium: 0.5 to 1.5 teaspoons of potassium citrate powder will provide approximately 1,000 mg to 3,000 mg of potassium. 1 teaspoon of potassium chloride (NuSalt / No salt) will provide 3,180 mg of potassium 3. Magnesium: There are many brands of magnesium supplements. Capsules are easier for many people to swallow than tablets. Choose one that has approximately 500 mg of magnesium.

I have a question: Did you notice any hair loss/thinning during or after your fast? Hair loss is the only thing that keeps me from embarking on an extended water fast. Thanks love! I’m crying 😢- I did not notice hair loss during the fast but it has been shedding a lot after.. I did take a hair defense supplement for fasting so I’m not sure if that worked or not, I stopped taking it when I stopped fasting, I probably should have kept taking it. But to be honest, I’m not bothered because it looks like a worthwhile sacrifice I made, the weight was a big bummer and confidence killer for me, plus I’m always wearing wigs so my hair loss can be as long as I’m not fat

I have taken hair/nail supplements before and my experience is that they do work so I will definitely consider taking them to help minimize the effect of the fast on my hair. Thanks again!
@@vevieblanc8674 I’m glad you have someone to look after you while your fast.. yes the hair and nails supplement works, but the one you are talking about will break your fast because of the ingredients and sugar in it, I wouldn’t recommend.. if you need to, buy “hair defense” from Nutri Align, that one is safe for fasting..

I do longer fasting a lot. I always feel better after and on and off during. my keys is electrolytes. I take LMNT ( look it up). It helps with energy and helps that super tired feeling. I’m on day 5 of a 21 day fast. I do 5 day fast all the time but I’ve only done this longer type fast once last year.
@@missjudy9911 I learned through many UA-cam videos for years the electrolyte are super important during a pro long fast. Our bodies get depleted of sodium and magnesium. I agree I’m on day 8 and have so much energy and feel great

I honestly did not prepare my body.. I know I binged on everything I would miss while fasting, and then just cut it all out.. I have not paid attention to my spiritual growth, because that’s not where my focus was, I wish I had an answer for this.. maybe best time I fast I will be intentional

Yes, you will lose the weight, however, the weight will come back though. What you need to do is eat healthily and exercise. Its has to now become a lifestyle 💕
I drank water and my fasting salts (electrolytes) - it is also recommended to take B complex vitamins, just make sure the ingredients are safe for fasting and won’t break your fast. Wishing you all the best in your fast 💕

Edit: I also started water fasting myself since 2-3 days ago. I'm on my 64 hours water fast and already lost 11 lbs (5 kg), i went from 266.7 lbs (121 kg) to 255.7 lbs (116 kg). Well, it's probably more like water weight that I lost but the fact that i was 5 kg lighter than 2 days ago still make me happy

@@missjudy9911 i lost 19 lbs in 7 days (yay!), i already break my fast but i found out i keep getting nauseous and got the urge to vomit everything if i drink plain water. Is this the common problem?i tried to search it up on the internet and it's probably due to my rapid weight loss that can cause problems in my gallbladder because my liver overwork it when they turned my fat into energy. I don't really know tho but the feeling is uncomfortable and i had to be careful. I drink honey ginger tea to reduce my nausea but sometimes i vomited without having anything in my stomach 🥲

Great work! Fasting is not designed for weight loss quickly. Weight comes off fast at first but then slows down. And then too, it depends on how overweight you are to start. If you’re way up there weight comes off fast at first. And you weren’t way up there, so you did real good to lose 40 in 50 days.

Hi, I wanted to tell you that you are doing a great job and are so encouraging. I immediately subscribed and will continue to follow your story. I am currently fasting and on a 5:2 schedule. After my 50th birthday this week, I plan to gradually increase my fast to do a 2-week fast, refeed 6-7 days, then a 21 day fast and refeed for 7-10 days, 30 days fast and refeed for 12-15 days, 40 days fast and refeed for 16 -20 days. These are "my best laid plans". So, pray for me. The refeed is super important as to not damage our body especially when fasting is supposed to help us heal our bodies. It can actually be more detrimental to our health than the fast itself. Super scary. I follow Dillon Holmes from Well your world and he has been to a facility that has been medically fasting people for over 30 years. The majority of us can't afford to go to such a facility, but we can benefit from the information that's out there. In this video he accounts his time there and shows a paper they received for refeeding on an extended fast. I hope this helps someone. Dont forget your salt and potassium. I find adding cayenne pepper to my acv drink has helped
I’m not well versed with intermittent, and those hunger levels are the key reason I opt for extended fasting, because the ginger completely goes away.
But for you it could be something as simple as keeping your mind buddy, since you are already doing everything.

If you don't have electrolytes water available in your area, just buy mineral water such as Nestle and you'd be good to go since it has already added minerals in it😉 that's what I'm using actually a different brand, but just regular mineral water and occasionally I add salt to the water, it helps with headaches.
I've also been taking 1 chai after every 2 days.
I'm almost done with day 4, just a few hours left , planing on doing 10 more days (2 weeks fast) so wish me luck🤞we got this!

To meet the recommended allowances for electrolytes you need:
1. Three teaspoon of sea salt or Himalayan salt
* Note: some authorities recommend 3,000 mg or greater of sodium per day. For 3.400 mg you would need two teaspoons rather than three.
2. Potassium:
0.5 to 1.5 teaspoons of potassium citrate powder will provide approximately 1,000 mg to 3,000 mg of potassium.
1 teaspoon of potassium chloride (NuSalt / No salt) will provide
3,180 mg of potassium
3. Magnesium:
There are many brands of magnesium supplements. Capsules are easier for many people to swallow than tablets.
Choose one that has approximately 500 mg of magnesium.

I have a question: Did you notice any hair loss/thinning during or after your fast? Hair loss is the only thing that keeps me from embarking on an extended water fast. I’m crying 😢- I did not notice hair loss during the fast but it has been shedding a lot after.. I did take a hair defense supplement for fasting so I’m not sure if that worked or not, I stopped taking it when I stopped fasting, I probably should have kept taking it.
But to be honest, I’m not bothered because it looks like a worthwhile sacrifice I made, the weight was a big bummer and confidence killer for me, plus I’m always wearing wigs so my hair loss can be as long as I’m not fat

I do longer fasting a lot. I always feel better after and on and off during. my keys is electrolytes. I take LMNT ( look it up). It helps with energy and helps that super tired feeling. I’m on day 5 of a 21 day fast. I do 5 day fast all the time but I’ve only done this longer type fast once last year.
I love I feel during fasts (not when the sick feeling creeps in) I will look up the LMNT
