I remember Wybald is where we told you, "dont worry about how fast others are going, you have waited your whole life to do this trail, and you take your time and enjoy every view!!" -- It didn't take you long to learn this. I'm really enjoying watching how well you've put these together and edited :)
I had serious FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) when I was behind. And by the time I got to camp, there was little to no spots left to pitch a tent. That’s what made it really discouraging. Thanks for your support and following along! More episodes on the way!
Your channel came up as a recommendation today and I'm starting to watch your videos. I didn't know you were a geocacher. I actually watched Cheeseball back in 2022, the same year you hiked, I've been subbed to her channel for years because of her geocaching content she put out before here thru hike.
I loooove geocaching! I actually ran into her on trail and knew instantly who she was and approached her about geocaching lol. I tried to find one in every state but by the time I remembered to check the map, we were never near one. Thanks for following along!
The A.T is blowing up right now. And im loveing so many people hikeing im seeing new people everyday. And im totally here for it good luck on you awsome adventure. Will be following along 😀 ❤ wow all the different kinds of tents everyone has i thought everyone just uses the z packs. But i guess not. I have the hilleberg anaris tent but i only over night camp. My pack is way to heavy for a thru hike. 😅 35 lbs i carry 😅 welcome to NC my home state hope you enjoy it. Its definitely beautiful in the mountains. Roan mountain and over mountain shelter and hump mountain are my go to places. Just before you hit TN is my favorite place to hike and camp
Thanks for following along! I started with 40lbs and sent at least 8-10lbs home during the duration of my hike. Hiking through the south was beautiful as everything started to bloom. Stumbled upon flowers and animals I’ve never seen before.

Do you think you'll have them all out before you hit your next adventure?
@@nickijean28 I am trying my best!
My feet KILLED me through NY and I got a pair of Superfeet insoles and that REALLY helped me. My arches had no support and I desperately needed it.
I got inserts in Franklin, NC and then new shoes all together in Gatlinburg, TN and put my inserts in them. What a difference!!!
Love the lighting in the shelter!
Was a fun time!
Enjoying these videos, thanks for sharing 👍

Oh, a Geocache! Have you found a lot?
I’m currently at #610. Love it!

Lol felt like a strobe light all night long!
Hey Abby, be safe out there and patient with yourself early on the miles. Keep working the will to do the trail. Nice job.
Thank you! I took it slow until my body was ready to do big miles.
Very dope video love the content 🖤
listen to this original song written about the mountain wilderness .
Don't go up to the mountain top without me (c)2006
I miss hearing those Eastern Towhees. Probably the most common bird on the southern half of the trail
Such a pleasant sound to wake up to every morning. Thanks for following along!
