UGA class of 1990 here, and while I love corporate career life I'd do anything to time travel, and spend a week back at college. Danielle's recap is great. Athens is absolutely the best college town, and UGA's campus is incredible.

I go to UDelaware, & its INSANE how if you want to live off campus we all have to know by like October or else everything is full, so crazy it happens at other schools !
I got into UGA last week and I’m coming to tour again next weekend I’m so excited!! I also plan on studying fashion merchandising with an emphasis in brand management so all of your videos you have made where you discuss your major have been super helpful!!
Downtown apartments are usually more than double the price of apartments anywhere else in Athens. Downtown apartments are usually ~$900+ a person. A lot of people live on the east side of Athens
Omg really?? Here in Memphis that’s normally what the college apartments cost. Like the cheapest is like $700 once all the random fees are added in. How much do the college apartments cost down there?
Outside of downtown and depending on the number of roommates it’s about $500. I know prices are rising each year. In 2015 I paid $285 for a three bedroom. Now I live in atl and pay $1250 😭

I attended UGA and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree and a partial Masters's degree before I left. Great campus and university. I visit occasionally and still love it. I was in the Redcoat band for two years. Here's the thing...when I went, tuition was a little over 3,000.00/year. A quarter of what it is now. I lived at O house for a while, which was a private dorm at the time. The rest of the time I rented from people who had rooms for rent, or for a while, I rented a trailer out in a field The dining halls are great. It's all good, really. College was/is, a very special time in your life. It only happens once. The thing is, if I had to go there again - I couldn't afford it. College degrees are just ridiculously high in cost. Good video! But, I tell you...listening to her talk like that non-stop for so long, makes me appreciate the fact that I don't have to be around people like that anymore ROFL. Go Dawgs!

How rigorous are the academics? How hard were the programs you went through? I don’t think freshmen are choosing their schools based on alcoholic drinks
All of that depends on the major, the student, the professors, what courses are being taken, and so much more. She can't just say "most of my classes were easy" or "most were hard" because it won't be like that for everyone! We all think differently and learn differently so it varies. I don't think most people choose a school based off of how easy or hard the classes are because that varies person to person! :)
Back in the day, Russell was all guys and Brumby was all girls. Russell smelled and was treated like a giant sewer. It reeked of alchohol and pee; you didn't touch anything if you dared go in. I won't say how long ago that was...but you weren't born, yet. I lived in Myers my freshman year, and then apartments.
ive seen people with amazing scores get denied, but dummies like me managed to get in. i think a lot of it is luck/timing. i recommend trying if you're interested

Completely depends on your major/interests! This is more so to give people an idea of things they don’t talk about on college tours/info sessions/etc.
