I had the Juno-6 and the Juno 106, loved the Juno 6s Bass patches regret so much that I let both of theses beautiful synth slip away 😢
For me this synth is one of the "heavy" ones which defined the music of my life.
I own a lot of synths, but somehow this one might be my favorite of all of them. It doesn’t have the most features and isn’t a sound design powerhouse. It only has one oscillator and every sound you make has a similar character to it. But the Juno “sound” just sounds great. It is one big sweet spot. The raw tone of the oscillator, the punchy envelopes, and the lush chorus help it sit in a mix like nothing else can. It has an immediacy to it that allows you to make exactly the sound you want in a few seconds, and it sounds just like a record. A total inspiration machine… one of the best purchases I’ve ever made
Gestern Abend bei Nils Frahm in Eindhoven - der hatte vier Junos auf der Bühne (plus einem SH2 und einer TR808). So viel schöner Roland Sound 😍
Awesome synth (definitely on my bucket list). I think it's one of the finest analog polysynths ever made. The Juno 6 and 60 made synthesis affordable back in the early 1980s (I mean who could afford over $5K for a Juptiter 80) to a lot of musicians. I love the straightforward "synth" sounds this can make. So warm, thick, lush, and gorgeous. You paint some gorgeous soundscapes, Marko! - Rick
Love mine, recent unexpected addition courtesy of a family friend who had one in a case for many years. Turned it on, everything worked fine, even the factory presets were still there. Amazing build quality.
Great synthwave sounds. Pop music of the '80s followed by house and techno of the early '90s would have been very different without Junos. Without the relatively low price and the ease of use, there are innumerable classics that wouldn't even exist.
Love this synth, it’s just pure classic and just brings back the 80s. Howard jones was a heavy user of this synth with the Jupiter 8 and DX7 for bass lines. So many groups used it on many classics. It’s just got a wonderful sound to it, one of Roland’s best I would say. I could listen to this synth all day a fantastic analog classic. As always and I say it every time. Thanks for your time making these videos to share with us. Absolutely love this channel and what you do. Have a great weekend and can’t wait to your next video.
Thank you Michael. 🙌
Agree with you. One of the best analog synths ever and together with the JP8 one of the best Roland. I love the melancholic vibe in the sound. The sound range is big enough for all classic sounds.
Have a wonderful weekend
Excellent Marco! I think this synth may well be the the most beautiful sound of all. Maybe because that its wide use trained our ears over decades of hits, but nothing is teally this lush! Thanks for sharing!

Some JmJ sounds in that mix...Foreigner's Waiting for a girl sound ss well..Thought that was done with an Oberhiem...Alles Wunderbar ❤
Прекрасное звучание! Вы показали, Джуно действительно может всё))
Some différences between juno 60 and 106? Thanks
The sound engine is different. The sound is different. Arpeggiator vs no arpeggiator. The 60 is way more reliable....
Beautiful work.
Silly question....why do you sometimes sit on the floor and play, when you have all those wonderful stands?
Which external FX was being used for the Juno, please?
@@monsterjazzlicks Roland SRV-2000 since many years for reverb . Delay EHX Memory Man Deluxe
btw i have combined the Roland Chorus 6 VST with my Juno-6 to make a "super chorus" effect ...it actually works great for a lot of different applications (i also have used it with my JX-10)
Awesome. Thoughts on the best software emulation?
TAL and Roland (i got the non-cloud version) are very good (i've compared them a bit with my Juno-6)
@@helisoma Thanks for that. TAL does seem to get the most love IMO. The Cloud version sounds great but the interface isn't as user friendly.
Never bought 6/60/106 though I played them many times…. Always thought… “DCO’s… single LFO…blah..blah.”. But sometimes, simple is good. And the 6/60 are good. 106… still not a fan. No arpeggiator and of course the chip issues, though again, it sounds good.
The Roland Juno-60 Synthesizer from the year 1982 is my favorite synth ever. You can you find the full Juno-60 playlist with single sound demos and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy.
