Overall, it's a stunning drama that moves you in a variety of ways. What kind of drama is Twenty-Five Twenty-One,
despite its ending? We got the best of school, sports, family, activism, romance, a smidgeon of comedy, life, death, hardship, sacrifice, and everything in between.
This drama avoids melodramatic overtones.We see life as it is and as it can be. I burst out laughing and cried my eyes out.
Nam Joohyuk and Kim Taeri are absolutely fantastic! They brought this drama to life by imbuing their characters with their distinct personalities.

StoryLine
Na Hee-do (Kim Tae-ri) is a member of the Seonjung Girls' High School fencing team in 1998,
but the team is disbanded due to the IMF crisis. She transfers to Taeyang High School to pursue her passion and later becomes a member of the National Fencing Team.
Due to the financial crisis, Baek Yi-(Nam jin's Joo-hyuk) family goes from "riches to rags" and is separated.
He is forced to work several part-time jobs before becoming a sports reporter.
Kim Min-chae (Choi Myung-bin), Na Hee-daughter, do's quits ballet and "runs away" to her grandmother's house in the present day.
During her stay,she discovers her mother's diary, from which the story is told.
