I also wash my pots and pans and flip them upside down to dry them on the stove. Saves time that way, and they're ready for you the next time. I stopped all fast food as well. Healthier!

Hey Paul! Spring has sprung! Time for people to clean up and out. It was relatively mild in IN this winter. Honor Flights🇺🇸 resumes this weekend. 90 Veterans ( 4 in their 90's) and 2 ladies who were captains in the Army. It will be a great honor.🇺🇸🇺🇸❤
Spring has sprung here in Wales too - well almost as had a couple of sunny days, one overcast and now a forecast of rain and 60 mph winds for tomorrow. Spring like high pressure (warmth/sunshine) returning at the end of the week.

Hey, Paul! The Marin bike may be made of aluminum! These are up scale bikes that sell for over $500 to $800 new. It may be worth the effort to fix and resell. At the least, an aluminum frame may be worth the trouble to strip down, if you decide to scrap it. Only you can decide that, since you've got it in your hands. Be safe out there! Love the Praise and Pray before Pay! Now that I've seen the rest of the story, you've confirmed the aluminum! Let us know how you deal with it!

Wow that's crazy Paul I found the same pink and purple monster high bike in the trash and I sold it on marketplace for $20. It was way to nice to go to the scrap yard.

Oh geez you made me think of my dilemma of using bungee cords. I filled the truck of branches and bungeed it down. Taking it to the township yard they broke and the whole load was in the middle of the road on a busy road. Yes 67 yr old woman out there trying to retrieve my load. No not one person stopped to help. Thanks people. Lol

i keep a stack of my favorite cast iron pans on the top of my stove--and yes i use them all the time!!(a wok/and two dif frying pans/one is like a grill pan) store my dutch oven in the oven--lodge - one of my fav stock/soup etc pots!!

Grew up with parents that did a lot of home cooking so learnt at an early age how to cook, I still home cook many meals however convenience (and laziness) set in sometimes and I buy a few ready made foods, mostly frozen pizza. I very rarely buy fast foods Mc D's etc mostly because of budget constraints.

Raised feeders are really good for big dogs! Helps with their digestion.
I found that exact same floor lamp at the dumpster and I am using it in my bedroom. All I had to do to fix it was to tighten up the nut on the base.

Ive been watching UA-cam for about 5 years. (I dont watch much TV anymore). When I first started, I searched for scrappers and your channel was one of the ones that came up. Ive been watching ever since. You are one of my few originals that I still watch. My tastes change or the channel changes and I unsubscribe, but you keep making the cut! lol

Today is a gorgeous day. I live down near El Paso Illinois, and there is a lot of goodness metal going out a month before bulk clean up time.

Glad you are still dieting and yes, it can cause dishes galore, but it's the only way to eat to maintain good health. I hope Olivia liked her highrise bowl. Those are good for all dogs and cats to use because when eating and having to extend their necks often close up their windpipes and can make them regurgitate their food. Very good for older cats and dogs that have arthritic issues in their necks and backs to give them less strain.

Yes, they take aluminum in the recycling, but they do not mean rain gutters. They are talking about bottles, cans, or sometimes foil trays.

I have a cast iron skillet that I keep on top of the stove all the time and yes I have two pots one pot and one medium large pot plus one regular Skillet that I use all the time

When you talk about the rusty bikes you pick up, I can't believe it. Lol I am nearing 74 and my parents bought me my cousin 's bike. Had spoke wheels and I loved it. There was a bully in my neighborhood Frankie and he was 2 years younger but big and outweighed this skinny girl by 30 pounds. He was constantly trying to get the better of me. What burned me the most was he would knock over my bike, stomp the fenders and spokes. I went crazy and beat him on the back as he was running home crying mama. He still would try especially digging in with his long dirty fingernails. My poor bike was nothing but rust and I have a hard time seeing these bikes going for scrap. Kids today have it good. That was my one and only bike and I still love the memory of Suzie.
When I was a kid in the '60s and '70s, bikes were so much more valuable. They were our freedom

Turned in scrap today. 1lb cans, 2 wiring harness not clean, 1 battery, and a radiator. I had a couple small pieces of iron. It paid out 19.00! Not very much, in Helena,Montana only one recycling place. They dictate all the prices. I don’t scrap much for that reason. Plus I had surgery last week! My adult kids did the lifting! I did it to get out in the fresh air! Great video

Hello from England - My pans are AMC Stainless steel. Made in Germany. Guaranteed for my lifetime. Bring them to the boil then turn them off, with lid on, and they cook all by themselves! Bought for £375 back in 1976. I am now 77 and they always clean up like brand new. They stopped selling them in England because it was a great deal of money back then. A group of stainless steel bowls with lids came with them free. - Just a heads up Paul, never cook with aluminium pans. They shed the metal, although you can't see it, but it brings on Dementia when older.

For 15 years I eat a lot of take-away. Not necesserily all fast food but, curry, Thai, Subway, MacDonalds, Fish & Chips as I was working most days from 5am till at least 9:30pm. Then I retired and have time too cook. Growing up it was a lot of sandwiches and a cooked meal at night. I did have MacDonalds once when I was 11 when we went on a school trip to the city and thought the cheeseburger I had was amazing. We lived so far away from fast food I never had it as a kid. Chicken and chips was the closest thing I had.
