It's faintly referring to Pandora's box, from Greek mythology. It was a box filled with evils and disease that was released upon the world when it was open, but I think in the song they only use the metaphor as a "box of secrets", not necessarily a box of evils. So, basically, "open up the box and learn my secrets".
