There is so little to go off of here. I have to guess: Maybe the tuned guitar string is an analogy for the "good life"? Too much tension and you cannot reach eudaimonia due to a lack of practical wisdom. Not enough tension and you cannot be reach eudaimonia due to wasted potential.
