All i have to say is, that sherman is absolutely beautiful
I loved this one very much because of all the animations and extra sounds. Thank you for doing the extra mile and include them. I know it is a lot of effort but, for me at least, it adds really a lot to the enjoyment of the report! THANKS!

I downlarded a War Sounds App for our gaming club. Actuallly for me.
That's a great terrain job! I have winter American's and German's. The American's are modelled after my Pop's unit from WW2. He was 26th ID Patton's 3rd Army. They were in a battle well to the south when they were ordered North along with 2 Armored Divisions through Luxembourg. That terrain you did for this Batrep looks perfect for that area, well done!

Are you sure he was a sniper or just a regular foot soldier with a fancy scoped up rifle. HA HA but been there done that myself, where no matter what I couldn't hit anything.

Nice table with nice minis for a nice Game! I wonder why you decided not to use the stuh's med. Howitzer against the US occupied House... A full ranger squad and a Sniper, tasty.
One more thing...your Germans have a special rule re: Snap to order dice. Check out page 17 of the Armies of Germany (2nd ed) 1st paragraph. German officers get an extra order dice. Your Oberleutnant (1st lewy) would have 3 order dice not the normal two. Fyi.
Awesome board. I will say that you guys have the most ineffective snipers ever! :) I'm just curious do you have a house rule saying that you can't target spotters with snipers? Our game always has the spotters taken out by the snipers ASAP
No. No house rule. Just a gentleman’s agreement .

Quick question:
At 12:08 you rolled a hit on that German MG team with the Howitzer.
Then you placed the template and rolled a dice to wound for each unit touched by the template. Is that the rules as written way? We have been just rolling one dice for everything under the template.

You roll for each model under the template. If you can get models from another unit under the template too you roll for them as well. But you must try to get as many minis from the target unit under the template before you try and hit a different unit with the same template.
Pretty sure that MG should have been destroyed after the hit, rolled it’s morale check with a pin and last man standing negative modifier for -2. Rolled an 8 and I’m guessing was regular?

Roads are Geek Villain self cut out roads. The hedges were made by a friend of mine
Stug rider squad can take assault rifles, its in the ostfront book I believe.
Where did you get those colored rings to go on the NCO's and LT's basses?
Got ‘em on eBay years ago. They were part of a Conan board game. Not available anymore. But there are some for sale as 3d prints now.

Did they fix tanks in this game? I remember them being not worth bringing at all and felt that was a bummer as I love combined forces.
Not really. Howitzer tanks are really the best choice if you want to use a tank.

The late war ranger company is in the D Day US Sectors book
Playing against ‘Rangers lead the way’ rule is brutal when you are trying to capture a location. Odds are they are always going to capture first. Great game!

I thought you could only have 6 Stug Riders with basic weapons but I don't have the rules in front of me and it may have been FAQ'd?
I just went with what easy army had which was up to ten guys
@@tabletopcp I think they missed them out of the 2nd edition German book (but they are in Barbarossa I think). I used to run them all with smgs as an annoying assault squad.
