About Time is such an amazing movie- I especially love the side story with Tim and his dad traveling back in time together, that was such a touching scene
sorry but the book is so so so so much better. The movie couldn't capture the greatness of the book and I think that's why it is not a great romantic comedy (and is it, a comedy? I'm not sure)
About time should be number 1 mostly because it's a movie about LOVE itself, just love and pure love: love for your partner, love for your sister and most importantly LOVE FOR YOUR DAD!!! It's amazingly touching, moving, fresh and creative and with amazing cast and perfomances, amazing script, lines and great soundtrack. The characters are so likeable and relatable. If you watch the trailer it's completely misleading but that's amazing cause once you've decided to watch it, you'll get an amazing and heartwarming surprise. Besides, it's everyone's sweetheart Rachel McAdams
@@jasminemackenzie3451 I think that particular title means that the F word is "friend". What if a man and a woman could be only friends? That question pertains to both titles.

My top not so typical Romantic movies without actually being on the right order: 1. 500 Days of Summer 2. One Day 3. About Time 4. What if 5. Like Crazy 6. Love Rosie
Did you watch 500 days recently? I used to love in my early 20s and was bummed to realize it didn't survive the test of time to me. Tom's a major douche.
@@msvideos234 that's the whole point. The movie is so simple and yet so open to many conclussions and discussions. Tom wasn't exactly awful, it was only immature and selfish, so lonely and with a low self-steem that cause him to only feel worthy if he had the love (or the company) of an unreachable woman. Those flaws made him so relatable and human that it's what keeps fascinating those who remain fans of the movie. Even after all these years, I watch that movie and I come up with new conclussions. We've all been Summer and we've all been Tom at some points of our lives.
@@msvideos234 (500 Days Spoilers ahead) I've seen it recently again for the sixth or seventh time (it is one of my favorite movies) and I love it still but I don't see it with the same eyes anymore. Before it was a movie advertising that there is no such thing as "the one" and we have to stop with that nonsense. Now I see it as an advertising for "the one" as Summer meets "the one" after her relationship with Tom. Funny I didn't see it that way before. I don't agree about the surviving of time. I think it will withstand the passing of time. I think it's one of the greatest romantic comedies ever that is boxing in the same category as "When Harry met Sally" and that's not nothing! The music, the editing (the expactions/reality scene is one of its greatest moments), the writing, the actors, the awkwardness of Tom's friends are perfect. Maybe you changed as I did and you can't see the movie as you saw it before.
james howe It was also included in American Top 10 2017. And underrated means critics didn’t liked it as it deserved not just about getting involved in people’s conversations
they said in the beginning of the video something like "underrated by critics or the public or both", so MsMojo thinks it deserved much better at the BoxOffice
Nobody ever talks about Sleeping with Other People. Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis chemistry is off the charts. But thank you for including Man Up! I think is super underrated.
Ruth Kurien Elaine! Elaine!....hahaha. My fav scenes are the dancing one with Modern Love, at the kids birthday party, and definitely the one where they’re in bed and she asks if they’re in love with each other and he says yes, but there’s nothing they can do about it 😭😭
I liked that movie but I got tired of all the detail they put into the sex scenes with other people. I don't know, it just kinda spoiled the romance a bit for me. Still a good movie though.

"Man Up" is funny, romantic and just plain good! "Obvious Child" is really good, a bit more serious and quirky. I would also recommend "While You Where Sleeping", "Always be my maybe" and "Love is all you need" (a Susanne Bier romance - the best kind).

If you have never seen it, go do yourself a favor, and watch it. River Pheonix and Lili Taylor were absolutely unbelievable. Such a hidden gem in the film industry.
Adam Sandler is perfect at two of the most unexpected things: - Family friendly movies - Romantic comedies His romantic comedies are some of my favorite movies of all time. The Wedding Singer is my life Ok.
I love the movie Take Me Home about a woman who hires a NYC cab driver to drive her home to California and they develop a romance along the way. I also loved this movie called Sanctuary that came out in 2016 about this law (now repealed) in Ireland that banned individuals with developmental disabilities from being romantically involved. Sad, but so meaningful and funny too.
(SPOILERS for About Time) About Time is a cute movie, but it has a pretty bad plot hole. Once Tim and Mary have a child, Tim discovers that he can't go back in time to moments before the baby was born without it resulting in a completely different baby being born. So he stops visiting earlier memories to ensure he can keep his children. When his dad passes away, Tim still retains the ability to go back in time to visit moments with his father, so it's almost like his father never died. But then Tim and Mary decide to have another baby, which would mean Tim has to give up visiting his father because he passed away before the third baby was born, meaning going back in time after the baby is born would result in a totally different baby with a different set of genes and different personality. So Tim time travels to visit his dad one last time and let him know that the baby is coming and they'll never see each other again. So they decide to indulge in one last happy memory together, which is....going back to Tim's childhood to spend the day at the beach? HOW DOES THAT NOT ERASE ALL OF THE ALREADY-BORN BABIES????
Yes I keep begging everyone to watch about time because they will love it but nobody will watch it! Literally the most incredible movie! Why don’t more people know about it?!
guys pls i need help, i am looking for a movie but i forgot the name of the movie and the actors... the movie goes like this : the main actress is a beverly hills girl and the main actor is a rock boy. The girl had a boyfriend, and one night the boy (main actor) went to the girl's (main actress) boyfriends party, but ended up causing trouble and getting kicked out. Im not sure but i think they saw each other before the trouble, and the boy snuck in to the party to meet her again. After that they began hanging out and so on... And at the end they ended up together, but on the present scene, the girl was with her daughter. She was telling her daughter her love story and so on. I can barely recall it now. If you know this movie please comment down below ive been searching this for a month

(SPOILERS for About Time)
About Time is a cute movie, but it has a pretty bad plot hole.
I FREAKING LOVE ABOUT TIME!!!! WHAT AN AMAZING MOVIE
Zoe Kazan is perfect
Yes I keep begging everyone to watch about time because they will love it but nobody will watch it! Literally the most incredible movie! Why don’t more people know about it?!
guys pls i need help, i am looking for a movie but i forgot the name of the movie and the actors...
the movie goes like this :
the main actress is a beverly hills girl and the main actor is a rock boy.
