I listened to Melanie as a child suffering decades of horrific abuse. I would have to sneak and listen alone and cry. Sorry I copied some albums to cassettes and made my own covers. I had no money. I hope the statute of limitations is up on that crime. I thank God for the 70’s Koss headphones. I finally had to throw them away after 50 years, they were degrading and returning to their original elements. Melanie helped me carry my burden through years of misery and never knew. I felt she knew my pain and was with me in some sense. I got to see her in the 90’s in Duluth Minnesota. She graciously signed a stack of cd’s. So she is with me still. Someday she’ll come back before I’m gone. There’s still a little bit left of me! My night doesn’t end with the day, but that’s ok! Peace and love to anyone that reads this! ❤
