She asked me back is it perhaps...? and then we both said it out loud together Digraj sir. We both were amazed like every student likes studying from sir and enjoys social science only because of him. As this lecture is of last year it says that Women Reservation bill is not being amended in constitution. But it is actually passed by both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha few months back in 2023 you can search "Women Reservation Bill 2023 (128th Constitution Amendment)" for more information.

There might be numerous teachers teaching this chapter or is more professional to this profession but Digraj sir had tought many things which we were not aware of and did not even understand the purpose or actual reason behind the issue that the society is still going through...He made is so clear to know everything easily and he does not take this whole topic as a chapter but to make the future youth acknowledge everything ..

2:31:00 sir I asked me mom she told me some points which I think is considerable
1)Their practices and customs can be different than us and it can also be conflicting (economics aa gaya ) for instance The high caste people generally are vegetarian And they can’t just adopt to a non vegetarian diet (same vice versa)
2) such things only lead to problems as either one of the caste has to adopt with other caste policies that is someone has to give up (adjust with the other )and here it is not from both the sides so foundation of the relationship is gonna be weak
3) also it can feel like one caste is dominating the other
Exceptions exist karte h but most cases mein esa hi hoti h and the main reason that our households don’t prefer inter caste marriages is to maintain peace! And yeah many households are not *against* inter caste marriages but haan they don’t prefer it!

Aspects in which women faces discrimination, disadvantages, and violation:
1) literacy: literacy rate among women is only 52% with compared to 75% among mens. Parents prefer to spend more for their boys rather than spending equally in daughter n son
2) UNPAID WORK: The proportional of womens in high paid and valued jobs are still ver small. On an average, a indian women works a hour more than a male every day
3) Violation of Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 :Provides that the wages should be paid equally to both the males and females to equal works. But stil womens are paid less than mans for the same work.
4)Sex ratio(Female abortion): many parents prefer a boy child and find ways to have the girl child aborted before born. This sex selective abortion lead to decline in sex ratio
5) Domestic violence: There are daily reports of harrasments, Violations, and discrimination against women. Particular the urban ares have now become unsafe for womens
