Great video. I have the issue of my interior dome light not coming on when door opens, they work when pressed just not when turned on with the middle rocker switch. Also the back roof light doesnt work either, reckon its a fuse issue or bulbs?
Check button is properly in middle couldbe faulty switch, and back roof light will be bulb as the whole thing wouldnt work if it was fuse as i found out by blowing the fuse once
@@Sam-tw2sr yes apart from the boot light, boot light only come on when boot is open, same with glovebox only comes on when glovebox open, the rear light should work if it not then bulb needs replaing
@@MrWaheedulHaque yea well the boot light ok when doors open, the back light only comes on like the front when buttons are pressed. The glovebox 1 doesnt come on either, i assume i need new bulbs for those 2 maybe? I like your leds i may get some+swap all mine, i assume those leds work on all mk6s? I saw you number plate 1 aswell, going to get those aswell. Your looks mint 🤌🏼
@@MrWaheedulHaque hi mate just wanted ask see if you knew the answer, just a follow up from earlier. I wanted to change the footwell to leds aswell, but when ive looked i cant see any installed lights in already. Ive got a 2010 mk6 tdi, do they not have them in that model do you know? Tried to look on youtube etc
@@tonykivanc Hi, how you pulled the buttons? For example, left button, on the left side I see hook, I’m removing the hook but it holds the button from the right side and I can’t pull the button. How to remove the button without breaking?
Hey guys watching this now in 2024, very useful thank you. Can you tell us where you bought the LEDs from? :)

@@Sam-tw2sr Hey man, you found them? =((
Reckon i will get away with using a flat head instead of removal tool?
Yeah you can do i done that in past just be gentle with it or you will scratch things up haha
@@MrWaheedulHaque ha yea not as much protection has a plastic tool like! I had some in the past but think i throw them away!
@@Sam-tw2sr good luck with you, you can always wrap a cloth around the flat head to soften it a bit when using and hold it in place with rubber band
@@MrWaheedulHaque yea defiantly. Ive got the full set to do like yours

Mate, my auto switch doesnt respond well anymore, should i replace the whole module or just the switches?
Most likely gonna be the module
Oh could also be the light sensor before spending money i would just get a mechanic to figure out which part is at fault
@@MrWaheedulHaque i pulled out the switch and the metal is burned on 1 side. and they dont sell it. i need to get an entire new module
Glad you found the cause and i guess you just gonna have to replace the module then

Very helpful vid but you forgot to put the LIT on
Sorry next time i put the lit on
What size bulb goes in the boot?
41mm Festoon 1W Bulb
@@MrWaheedulHaque thanks
I think 1.4 TSI with only 122ps has no chance of getting 0-60 in 4.8s as you claim in description
You are right i updated this to the actual timed one in future videos if u have a look thanks
