This is awesome, after my coma, I did a fresh setup the old way, took me forever because if my brains beeing stuck, sometimes i was as good as finished today, but these are really nice improvements!! One of the first ha users i think from the start
Love this release as a front end web developer and as a full time caregiver for my father. Love seeing responsive design, with drag and drop customization, come to HA. Maybe I'll actually spend the time to organize my dashboard...hehe. I will definitely be using the scripts to make it easier on me to respond to my dad when he notifies me he needs assistance via our aqara buttons (he needed simple...all intercom systems I tried did not work...he has dementia). I can't always respond immediately, so I like having the option to send him messages via our speakers to tell him I'll be there in a couple of minutes or whatever. I've been trying to make that happen via other routes already with limited success. The demo you gave of sending a message via TTS is exactly what I've been trying to figure out.
Love the dashboard changes and the energy graph! But, even more interesting than those are, at 56:56, in the energy graph, it shows one of the devices as a "Portal gun." I cannot find that feature/integration! Where is it?!?! I must know! 😄
find it so funny how it comes across in videos like a new evolution of function. Actually, Homeassitant can be used much earlier, but they wanted to keep it very small from the beginning so that it runs on every Pi or NAS. But now we have more powerful systems, more integrations and now we need a completely new UI :D
The todo list is Amazing.. But send me an error when I click to mark the item ..! Failed to call service todo/update_item. No timezone information available for event: {key}
Drag&Drop isn't working for me. It just doesn't work at all. Nothing appears to be draggable. The old order spinner is still there, where you have to enter a number of order at which you'd like to place a card. Very oldschool, and certainly not drag&droppable at all. So I guess what's missing: where the heck do I enable it?!
For the time being there is no upgrade path, maybe one will come in the future? The feature is in early access testing so I'd be weary of actually using it for your critical dashboards as yet.

As I was watching this I restarted HA to see the speed increase, and my god it is phenomenal!
The drag&drop feature is histerical!
I dont care about the experimental warning. I am moving all my dashboards to sections and recreate everything :)

Yo, what is this profile tool that Nick used? Is it something that regular users can use?
Installed the update and the option isnt there to create a new view and with the update it broke my Honeywell Total Integration

Did you start a new dashboard and select "Section" as the layout type?
