I tried to do free form a few times after making a number of the bits on this channel. Elena makes it look so easy. Mine ended up a mess. The scrumble was fine but joining it to other things was a disaster. It wouldn’t sit flat and looked like a yarn barf rather than a n intentional project. I’ve got a whole box full of Elena pieces that I’ve no idea what to do with but making them has taught me a lot and has improved my crocheting skills. Wish we could all get together and have a crocheting day. I’ll make a pot of tea and everyone can bring something for afternoon tea.. if only. 🦘🌈

Thanks for sharing all these ways to crochet and to teach how to be free and creative by crocheting ! It’s fine to be able to make all basic stitches, but it’s only the beginning of all universe of infinite possibilities in combining and mixing them. Then it’s proper to say that the one who does this is a creator. Reproduce helps learning but then make one’s own experiences by trying , failing and retrying is also a big part of the learning process and that’s what you understood and do freely. I function like you and so I absorb very well everything you show. Your videos are so complete, so teaching, but not dogmatic. Thank you once more I have already subscribed to your channel of course!
