I never will. I told Jesse that I wanted to get into the community from the start, and have always wanted to feel a part of it all. Now that I am, I couldn't be happier. I loved when editors get involved with the audience, because it is a community. Hearing from the people involved in the process, always made me feel that way. Re: question 2... cucumbers *originated* in India, that's not the only place they grow. If the question was "where did cucumbers come from" then India would make sense as an answer. But based on the wording of the question it's much more logical to assume the options were "in trees" "underground" etc.
At the end we couldn't see the answers even after they answered. It's super bizarre for the game to have a spectator mode like that where you don't even get to see the answers in the big finale round. Edit: Unless, I guess, and this is what it sounds like, this is what everyone sees on the screen and then you just see the answers on your phone or something. The main screen still needs more feedback for what happened in the last round if that's the case, or this won't really take off as a game people want to watch being played.
Okay... Legit real talk. I don't know if this is possible. I had some ideas, but everything was post recordings. So there was no footage to have for those ideas. This is what you see on the TV screen. everything else is on what they are using to play. Ideally in the future if it is possible I imagine we can work something out to improve these types of videos. Whether it is in editing or through pre-planning. Typically MPM has no live cams, and I think that's for a reason; however I totally understand where it comes from as a viewer with this game. I was hired because I view things through that lens more often than not. That being said, this was one game, in a whole new season of Multiplayer Mayhem. There is plenty more to come, and it is as salty and awesome as every other season. -Editor Michael
I'm actually surprised how viewer-unfriendly this is, for a BYOP game (bring-your-own-phone, or whatever you'd call this emerging genre of party games). Usually BYOPs are made with potential viewers milling around in-mind, for them finding it entertaining to watch and deciding to join in for the next round. Heck, pretty much all Jackbox games are now supporting the audience playing along. Either way, I'm always craving more MPM and I'm always down for the guys (failing) at trivia.
I definitely get it. Once I understood what the game itself was doing I can see why you wouldn't have been able to easily edit it another way. It's an interesting game, and was still fun to watch them play, but we missed out on a lot. You'd literally need to be here just for Jesse, Jirard, and Alex.. which is usually the case. Once I understood that most of the game was on their phones, it was more of a condemnation of the game's design. Stuff like this blows up when people are able to stream it, and they really have not set it up for people to spectate easily like that.
I love how it has a bit of a path of questions, where the last one chosen will dictate the categories available of the next. It really does make it fun to play, imo.

As much as I love the game (played it a couple of times) it is bad for a video unless you either somehow record a phone screen or the room/your faces. There simply is too much time where nothing happens for the viewer. Still enjoyed the video.
If you have played it, perhaps you can answer a question for me. Is this a game purely for Americans (going by all the questions in the video), or did Jesse & Friends use a setting at the beginning to make it ask all those American questions that only Americans would know?
@@glenbe4026 I think we also had some heavy US centric questions and don't think there are any settings to disable that. But it always depends a lot on the choices you make (like going heavy into city questions vs e.g. biology)
@@eydenhastati5838 ok thanks. From the video, it was heavily into US centric questions. Questions that I (who actually has some good geography knowledge since I have been to quite a few countries) and my friends would just straight up fail. ie the only city known as the windy city to me is Wellington, New Zealand. And no one I know would be able to answer what american state a national park is in.
Everyone should know Immanuel Kant's categorical imperative. It's the moral philosophy that all decent people believe in whether they know the term or not.
...I had to look up the Florida coast after that "Venice of America" BS. The section of Ft. Lauderdale that has a few canals through it is actually the same body of water that originates in Miami, runs through a place literally called "The Venetian Islands" in Miami, and runs all the way up the coast to Jacksonville, where it terminates at the St. John's river. I might be a bit biased, though, since I've been to Venice... and also Venezia (which is much more temperate than either Venice or Miami).
i seem to notice the same trend in these types of games between you three. Jirard is always losing so it becomes a fight between alex and Jesse, Alex gets salty that you keep stopping him from winning and in the midst of the jesse vs alex bit jirard comes on top
This game looks pretty fun and all, I kinda wish it had some sort of balancing mechanic though. The fact that two players can just team up against one player every round is a bit unfair imo. Still, hilarious video though!
the problem I have with this game is the amount of joke answers in these questions means that every question is just obscenely easy and there's no tension at all
I feel like they co-oped out of some subject matters to make things easier, and eventually made things harder. I do like the subjects that his game goes into, though!
I don't like how Jirard always plays the "I'm gonna lose, that's game, gg, not gonna win, woe is me, gonna sulk all episode" then he wins and it just like "wowie zowie" it's garbage all ways 'round.
When Jesse and Jirard are laughing at the same time, they sound like seagulls XD Can we get someone's perspective next time? It beats just watching a timer tick down for thirty seconds, and it didn't even show us the answers in the last round.

Fully agree. Too many times I had no idea what was happening because the action was off the screen
better yet just dont play it again
+ just the worst viewer experience i ever had on this channel :/
Game just isn't designed for 3rd party viewers unlike Jackbox.
