Looked a good one and you were riding on the edge pretty close to some of them trees towards the end. Good turnout saying there was a Saturday ride as well, I went off to the lakes to look for some snow but thanks for the invite 👍🏼
Ha ha yer nearly clipped a few. I’ve been riding that track for nearly a decade so know it well !. It wasn’t a Saturday, this was a Sunday ride. Think Mark did one on the Saturday. I saw your pics from your ride, looked a bit fresh up there !!. Wasn’t too bad in the peak, some ice about, but fairly warm still.
Ha ha it’s because if you go too slow on that track you tend to hit every single rock and root going. Yet if you totally hoon it down there you can jump a lot of it or skip over the tops of the rocks. A lot of tech is harder if you go really slow as you have to roll over each and every rock, whereas fast you basically kiss the tops of each like a peddle skimming on water. The time for that track was one of my slowest that day. My last time was 1 min faster than that.
Epic video buddy, I recognised most of that ride but a lot I didn’t, the eastern moors is a brilliant place to ride, it looks so different from when I was there last, possibly because of the tree clearance
I have ridden the two main trails and the trail in the bottom of the valley but I wasn’t aware of any others, it’s interesting to know that there’s more to investigate 🙏😉
Looked awesome this mate running well considering the conditions we've had recently.... Do you have a link to the phone holder you've got? Never had an issue with it falling off?
Yer it holds up pretty well round there as a lot of it is fairly sandy. It’s just the Quad Lock Case bike mount. Only one time I had it fall off was when I didn’t do it up properly, as you have to turn it until it clicks. I’ve stacked it big time before and never had it fall off even with the bike doing flips in the air
Great ride on Sunday always good to try out new trails, cheers Ian
No worries mate, glad you enjoyed it !

I know you made a comment on one of the downhills saying you were going to slow but it didn`t look slow to me. Nice looking trails as well

Thanks !, most of that is Blacka Moor, there’s a lot more there than just two bridleways, you just need to know where to look.

@@yorkneytrailrider1751 yes you could literally spend the whole day there if you wanted, trails for days.
Or two if you ride as slow as me 🤣🤣
