    Thanks. I have two of these & the double action model. Never knew how to in depth take them apart,was scared I would tear 'em up.😂I do taxidermy work and am getting ready to paint a few bass. Gonna clean 'em up tomorrow!

    The newer version is the HS. The bottles screw on it, so they don't inadvertently fall off. I use to love my Paasche H but, once I got my Infinity Silverline Plus 2.0, Iwata Eclipse Takumi Side Feed and my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, which all atomize the paint WAY better, I've never looked back. Great starter airbrush as long as it sprays properly.

    I just did a clean on mine. First time I used it. I just grabbed methyl hydrate off the shelf because that's what they had and it seemed weak. I was surprised that the paint in the bowl wasn't just coming off easy. I am going to get some proper paint thinner. This methyl hydrate didn't seem to work that good. It doesn't smell very strong either. I didn't trust that. I did get the small stuff clean though and ran a cup of meth through it before and after.

      I really like mine. I always use cheap lacquer thinner to clean mine and I've never had any issues.

    Can you show how you clean this quickly between colors?

    • @olezippi
      @olezippi  11 місяців тому

      Well Kevin, I don't really switch colors while I'm airbrushing but when I let the paint flash between coats for 5 or 10 mins this is what I do. I keep a Qtip and some lacquer thinner next to my spray booth and about every min or so I'll rub the spray tip on the airbrush to keep the paint from clogging. Plus shoot a little paint out as well to keep everything flowing so nothing has a chance to start setting up in the airbrush. Hope this helps.
