phase 2 had some leeway, i managed to clear that even if he got the 100% atk related buff, as long as he doesnt ult you can live.
now on to watch your floor 2 video!
Yeah if he has that ult in hand with the atk up, you are done for.

I would say give Liz triple def to make sure she’s the lowest hp and make it more consistent for the rat to target Liz over Merlin

I heard Maels relic is a meh. Is that true? Cuz i really like the look mirroring Estas relic and the effect of Mael getting ATK related on AOEs and Damage Dealt increase from singl targets sounds like a great deal.
Not sure, gonna wait till I try it for myself before I make an opinion on it.

So now I have to upgrade Merlin
I think she will probably be once of the first units on the team to get replaced but that's just a guess. If you have the mats though, I would go for it if you want to start learning the fight and getting those relics.
I accidentally chose the wrong demonic beast so I can't even get the rewards but thank you for the guide. I have a better understanding of it now.

Fairies are the only other team I know if but I haven't actually seen the setup for it myself.

I am still struggling on Floor3, I don’t understand the mechanics and I don’t know how to lower the left bar to 0%. I was using the standard Angel Team. 😢
I have guides explaining all the mechanics for the fight already. But I may revisit it soon with the new changes.
You just need 3 ults to get rid of his bar on phase 1 of floor 3. I run Mael, LR Margaret, Red Freyja and LR Liz for nidhogg. Use everyone's ult besides Liz to get rid of the bar completely. I've tired using 2 ults and a Mael card in the past and even that got him to like 5% gauge remaining.

The team is unfortunately pretty specific as of now. Hoping for some new DOT units to help things out.

You'll probably have to wait for a new unit to come out for this boss then. It's incredibly specific at the moment.

Hmm .. I never made crit resistance, only crit defense, does that work or should I start building crit resistance sets?
You could try it, I just made those as a recommendation from others really.

Yeah you can, the fruits are just drops on the stages. I think I already have close to 30.

I was good until phase 3, couldn't get any meli single cards. I think if I had a few of those it would've been easy but he put a force field and blocked all of my cards so I couldn't do anything. I'll have to give it another try. My team was taking hits pretty well until he got that boost. I accidentally killed one of the stumps. Almost need to write down a plan or create a chart for this lol.
There are a lot of factors that you have to worry about with this boss. Not drawing the right cards is rough. And killing a stump can be really bad if you don't have the other DOT cards to move him.
@@Nalyd for sure. Watching several other guides and everyone basically says the same thing. Until the new character comes out it's just waaaaay too RNG right now

I don't think there is a good replacement as of now. You must have shock and any other unit with it is either too old with bad stats or can't reliably get the shock off. I think thats going to be the first thing they come out with for this fight though.

Yeah that's fine.
Is there any other holy Relic I need beside jelly king?
I would assume having the Liz relic is a must as well but I dont think the Merlin relic will matter and Meli doesn't have one.
Would demon Hendricks be good to use
I don't think he will work well enough. Merlin is already incredibly hard to keep alive because her stats are low. Hendrickson more than likely won't be able to survive.

I use LR Zeldris now, but I've seen people use Fitoria, UR Gowther, and Festival Estarossa.
i am getting hard stat checked at phase 3 of floor 2.He one shots the whole team.
probably gonna need the deer card set and also my box cc is also only 3.6 mil so i guess im fucked
I have seen people say they can do it with 6M or so but yours might be a little low. This is the newest boss so I would try and work on getting some of the other relics to help boost box CC unless you are dead set on getting that Mael relic.

Not sure what you're asking. But that is Green Ragnarok Merlin, yes.
If my understanding is correct: on phase 3, when you land on the left log, you MUST have King's Weak Point or Ult ready to play the next turn.
Even stalling (dumping) or merging cards for a Weak Point/Ult to come in is too late. Because on the next turn, since Ratatoskr did not move a log, you get a Buff/Attack/Ult seal (grey debuff) which would make stalling turns pointless. Then it becomes an endless loop you can't break out of.
On the middle log, it's still fine because you can still stall for a Merlin Shock which is a Debuff card unaffected by the seal.
I think you're right. You basically have to keep him moving or at least on the middle log for any sort of normal play conditions.

I figured out how to beat the first 2 floors while watching your stream playback from the other day. Suffice to say, it was much easier than Nidhoggr floor 1. Not being able to do floor 3 is a pain, but at least it'll only take me 3~ish weeks for Mael's relic instead of 5~ish
Yeah those two floors should go a long way.
Ill be doing this on 12 months haha, never bother with these beasts for a while but I do have to say I dont like the design at all. Im not very familiar with him in the actual myths but why make him look like a goofy 90s cartoon? The other 4 looked awesome.
He's supposed to be very mischievous from my understanding. I like it so far, very light hearted.
Ratatoskr is a Devious squirrel "messenger" for the tree that plays tricks on the other beings to break them into fights
I have the worst pulls ever in this game.I dont have any of the deer cards or those characters lol. Pretty much on all the videos i watch.
Unfortunately this is going to be really specific until we get some actual support for the boss.
NM and this having to use very specific cards and type of cards is kinna irky lol not gunna lie
I kinda like it. Cool to get some use out of some cards that don't get a lot of use. I can see how its annoying to some, but I think its fun. I'm sure as we go forward, the new units will make it so much easier.
Floor 3 is so much more gimmicky 😭
I have seen some game play of it and I think its doable but way more RNG.
Did the first two floors with everyone hp def ur using regular substats aside god Meli with atk crit lol.
Dang thats good, I think the Crit Def/Res gear is nice to have a little more room for error but if it works for you then no biggie.
