Great Video! I have Telepresence SX80 units registered to On-prem CUCM and on CE 9.14.3. These units are linked with Webex Edge for Devices and a Hybrid services Calendar for O365 is deployed. I can see myself as enabled Calnedar user as well as from the Workspaces I can see the the scheduled Microsoft Teams Meetings on the device but OBTP Join button is not showing up. Upon checking the "xcommands bookings list" I found that its missing the "DialInfo Calls Call 1 Number: """ hence the endpoint is not populating OBTP to call in the Microsoft Teams meeting using CVI. I can join the meeting using IVR though. Any idea what could be the issue here?
@@thecollaboratorywithdustin6232 Thanks for the reply Dustin. We found the issue was related to a typo made during adding the "InstructionURI" string into Microsoft Teams powershell commands so the Alternate Meeting instructions were not showing up the right join details hence the OBTP not showing up.
Amazing content Dustin! Keep up the good work! That's exactly what I was looking for and it really helps you to get your head around all the features and functionality behind all of it. Quick question, do you know under which circumstances the system would priorities WebRTC over CVI? It has happened to me a couple of times on systems I manage and I got someone asking me they can't see an option for sharing from the room system which tells me that most likely the system dialled using WebRTC. Also is it possible to tell from call logs which option system used for the call (WebRTC or CVI)?
Paweł, we only support Cisco CVI in Hybrid Calendar today… and we will always prefer it over WebRTC… however we will support WebRTC in any other Teams invite.
Hi little question, is CVI or WebRTC possible if I have clients that have Microsoft Teams and I have a Cisco room kit enable device? Or are these solution used when both Microsoft Teams and Cisco endpoints are both internal? Thanks and great videos!
All capable Cisco Devices, when configured correctly, can join any CVI or WebRTC MS Teams meeting. CVI can be joined manually or via OBTP and WebRTC can join via OBTP.
Amazing features! What I would like to know now... how did you get the Endpoint main' screen on your desktop!? It says Vysor on the top left, but did you install it on the DeskPro? Is there additional hardware involved?
Yes! You generally will get better quality video with CVI over WebRTC due to the nature of the client and the technology. WebRTC client does not have some of the media resilience features that our devices can provide with the CVI integration as well.

It's hard to troubleshoot without more information. I suggest opening a case with Cisco TAC to explore further.

Roland Bellwald It is an internal developer tool we use on non-production endpoints.
On Edge with Dustin - Gaining the Webex Edge I hope that tool could open to public, because that is very useful for doing lab.
