@@dstaff7373 no not single mothers because I’m a divorced single mother and my children by the grace of God bustin 4.0’s and in track and tennis. Still say yes ma’am and home is their peace because I made it that way. They are not allowed at 16 and 15 to be roaming the streets or going anywhere without checking in with me. All those kids out at that time of night to fight means the parents need to be held accountable.

Parents need to be held accountable alongside the child.. Both the same punishment and both need to be banned from any place these incidents take place. On top of this, more harsh punishment.

I'm from pgc. My curfew was 11pm when i was 16. I know alot has changed since then. We didn't cause the chaos that we see today. Its time to leave. Prince georges co. I did and i'm blessed to be where i am. Ii won't tell.

Its single mothers with no fathers in the house. Take the mother off social services and then those kids will get responsible, they have support their mothers!

Yes. Because people from all over go down there to spend their money which supports the County and puts food on business owner and their employees and vendors tables.
Parents need to parent their children. If you don’t want to be a parent take birth control. I am all for a curfew in Prince George’s County not just at the Harbor. A fourteen year old should not be out at that time of night unsupervised. If the kid caused any damage, it’s the parent’s responsibility to pay for it. I don’t think kids under 17 should be at the Harbor with parental supervision.
"They" have screwed up the Inner Harbor so bad. You just can't undo it.
Prince George County finally had a good money earner, until the locals started trashing it. We went there regularly before. Now, we people from Virginia see National Harbor like downtown DC. It was good while it lasted.
If you want to pay for the most expensive public parking to have expensive, mediocre food and random crime and trouble, go to National Harbor.

@@cynthialee3126 And I actually meant locals. I have friends in Oxon Hill and PG County and yes, locals (as in people who live there). I wasn’t even talking about race. But since you brought it up, I’m Asian. When was the last time you saw an Asian kid in these melee’s in Maryland? Exactly.

I'm sure you know that it's bigger than their childhood homes. Nothing in human history has happened in a vacuum but, in the end we each have to be accountable to God for ourselves... unless Someone stands and gives account for us.

Honestly, it seems like the trend for these teens is to do as much as you can for exposure. Like they are trying to get their face and name out there.
Ive arrested multiple teens at the harbor, and all they care about is this going to be on the news. So really i think handling them without an audience will make them calm down in my opinion.

I'm surprised the harbor lasted this long before that. Like Chris Rock said, "I'm tired, tired, tired of ENEGGES" (you know the word) It's why most of PG can't have anything nice and it ain't YTs fault so don't start with that crap.

This is primarily a parenting issue--don't have em if you don't wanna raise em! If your child isn't in your house if they are under 16yo (and don't have a job--which they should have at 16yo), that is YOUR failure. You should know where your under 16yo child is. And if your child is somewhere out of your control/supervision and causing ruckus, that is YOUR failure--and you need to not only correct them, but also work with the people who were impacted to have your child make amends. Now for the hotels, kids can't get into rooms unless they check in and get the key or passcode. So when you see anyone under 25 checking in, you need to deny them unless there is a verifiable over 25 adult there who gives you their credit card and ID and you charge them triple the room rate on the spot (and it clears) and let that adult know they must accompany the kids in the group on be liable for any and all actions they take and be banned from the hotel and be on a watchlist for other locations. Bet those adults won't risk that.

The the problem is the mothers mothers need to be fined or face possible jail time for having their kid break curfew mothers are doing this for these little kids. It’s no fathers running hotel room.

Because anyone with any sense knows that what goes around comes around, which is actually what this is. It's just that it affects the most vulnerable first but, it's really America's problem and there is absolutely no way of escaping it apart from divine intervention.
