Changsub is a Tenor that doesnt often use mixed voice, hed rather belt out most of his higher notes, whereas Hyunsik is a Baritone whose essentially forced to mix anything higher than like a E4-G#4 range. Baritones have to have a decent foundation for their mixed voice simply because its one of the few ways that they can achieve those higher notes.

Each of them have their own vocal techniques. They are all my bias, but I admit, I love and adore Hyunsik more. When it comes to their vocal techniques, they are THE BEST ( individually and as a group ). They have their own colors that make BtoB breathtakingly beautiful like a rainbow. 🌈

I think hyunsik and eunkwang have a amazing vocal range, expecially hyunsik. He can be very very low and very high notes at the same time, and it impressed me!
This shows that being a Tenor singer doesn't mean you sing better than a baritone. Hyunsik is one heck of a singer! I also think Hyunsik's range is the widest in the group. Eunkwang still has the best technique though.

Tenors do not have any more range or any less than a baritone since what Tenors excel in baritones excel at another so there’s not really any good comparison to be made with range. Typically ténors like Changsub and Eunkwang should find it easier but Hyunsik, despite being a baritone, has an extensive mixed range that allows him to sing waaay past his passagio. Ténors do not have a more ‘powerful’ voice nor are baritones any less powerful. Even if Hyunsik can sing that high he can’t come close to the support Changsub and Eunkwang have. The answer is not because of their vocal fach but of their own ‘natural’ range.

사실 이창섭이 발성이 썩 좋지 못해서 그럼. 초고음에서는 그 텐션이라는게 저절로 생기기 때문에 잘 나오지만 중고음에서 텐션을 거의 못잡고 반가성소리로 벌려내고 있어서 저기가 불안한거임. 상대적으로 임현식은 중고음에서 텐션을 딱 잡고 좁혀 내기때문에 이창섭보단 수월하지만 초고음 구사가 어렵다는 점. 둘이서 서로 장점만 섞어서 발성하면 둘 다 발성적으로 좋아질듯.

LOL! this really made me laugh. I remember an episode in beatcom wherein they talked about their parts in a song. they said that Changsub had always been the first line, and they added that he should never have the chorus part! hahaha.. (dunno if I remembered it right but i’m 70% sure.) maybe because he always crack his voice. but nevertheless I still love Changsub soooo much! ❤️❤️
