I layered my charcoal to one side and the other side for indirect grilling. This grill is for light grilling unlike a weber grill that can feed an army.
The burgers were fantastic! You are right. A much more sturdy surface to set up on and less charcoal will make a big difference. We are going to do a follow up video when we are traveling this summer. Thanks for watching. Todd, Lori, and Alec
You are exactly right. We have been using the grill for a while now and had really good results since using it correctly. Thanks for watching. Todd and Lori
@@claudiasofia8462 I bought it and honestly it doesn’t really warp from the first couple uses so far but it is very hard to fold completely flat again to put back in the box. It leave a little opening usually if you don’t mind when it folds back up especially if you put the grates back inside the grill. Personally I would recommend a Weber Go anywhere for $30 more since the grill grate is kinda hard to work with since it’s so flimsy but if you don’t mind it’s worth it
Flip 90 degrees to the direction of the grill rack to prevent losing your burger between. Only flip once. Otherwise the cold/warm cycle will turn your burger into leather. Same with any other meat. Put it on and don't mess with it, flip once, take off the grill. You had enough charcoal to open a blacksmith shop, so warping of the lightweight material is in the future of this grill. I do like the review as you went through all the possible mess ups. I think I'll be purchasing this grill for my little popup camper setup.
Well.... What do I even say?? That was way too much charcoal for just 4 small burgers, and putting that grill up on a table was not the smartest idea either...
Thanks for sharing this... I been looking through UA-cam, to find a good bbq for going out on my bike.. It looks like it was fun making this. God bless
wish i could give multiple thumbs down. still wandering if this was a spoof video. you should have put charcoal to one side only so you have a hot direct side for searing and a cooler side for finishing the food
You have to leave the meat alone until it's time to flip it. Once the meat is seared it will not stick to the grill. That meat wasn't seared yet when he was poking at it with the spatula. But also the space between the grill forks is to wide.
so many things done wrong in this video. 1) placement of the grill- setting the grill on top of a table? and mind you, a wobbly table? 2) wrong kind of charcoal initially used 3) please use a tong to place the grate on the hot A$$ grill, not your with your hands 4) please use the spatula to place the patties on the grill, not with your hands 5) too much charcoal for a small grill 6) have you grilled or even flipped a patty before?
Literally the only grill i own.... im poor shut up! This is why i pre cook my patties a little first and finish them on this, otherwise fine for chicken. The manual discourages loading the charcoal pan more then 70% capacity.. you went WAY over that LOL
24$ wtf lol the same exact one is on target for 59.99 and the inside includes some protected metal for the charcoal not to fall out the same exact thing
You can put it on the table, but a bigger table, like the picnic table at the bbq area in the park, not this wobbly little plastic table that not even fit. You really scare me when you flipped that burger out.
Lighter fluid? Total amateur! Get a charcoal chimney and toss the lighter fluid! You didn’t burn off any of the factory oils that are on your grill grates, another amateur move. Great job destroying those burgers. SMH
That grilled looks like the most dangerous Grill around that thing is a joke I would never use that that thing looks like it's going to flip over any second while you cooking
This is made more for camping trips and to be set on the ground. Setting it up on that table they have definitely is not a good idea. And oh my goodness at how much charcoal they used 😧
And this is what you SHOULD NOT DO when reviewing a new grill.! Thank you for showing WHAT NOT TO DO when grilling, thumps up!
Omg...so true..like wtf 🤷♂️
Lmao it literally says not to use that coal, and no fluid
would love a update on how the grill is holding up
it's also important to do at least one initial burn without cooking anything to get rid of any impurities
👍🏽
Mate you can not grill at all !!
I layered my charcoal to one side and the other side for indirect grilling. This grill is for light grilling unlike a weber grill that can feed an army.
This dude can't grill smh
Yup
Relax this is not a grilling masterclass you should appreciate he made the review
Your mama ain’t got no knees
🤣
Lmao
At first I was very frustrated watching you two work this grill then it became comical and made my night lol 😆 great video 👍
I have one i have yet to use im thinking maybe a lot less Charcoal and a more sturdy surface may do the trick. How did the burgers taste? I

I have same grill. Works great. Needs to be used correctly
You are exactly right. We have been using the grill for a while now and had really good results since using it correctly. Thanks for watching. Todd and Lori
How has this grill held up after the first use? The metal was bowing from the heat. Does the grill still fold correctly? Would you recommend?

What is the correct way
Oh no, oh noo, oh nooooooo 😂
Thanks for the review on the notebook, I think I’m gonna buy it.
Thanks for the video. Very informative.
I just bought this grill, wondering if this good to take to the beach..I'm concerned about the wind.
Let me know how it goes! I want to take mine to the beach too.
Spam the griddle first before adding meat so that the meat doesn’t stick
This would be a good lil grill to have in a Jeep with some minor tweaks to it
jEeP LiFe
What tweaks would you do?
I just ordered one on Amazon. Wednesday delivery date.

Yeah the pile of charcoal was absolutely hilarious
Excelente

You are correct. We get better and better the more we use the grill. Thanks for watching. Todd, Lori and Alec
Thanks for this review!!!!!!!

Wow you guys are funny. Great vid, thank you for the review
The “chefs” are high, right?
thnx for sharing your fantastic video.
Can u just use it as a fire pit?
yes. I have done that many times and it works well. Thanks for watching. Todd and Lori
Great to see the BBQ police managing the comments section here!
Can’t tell if this is satire 😂😂😂
Hi guys, welcome back. Have you picked up the modified camping truck yet. Cheers from Southern California. Daniel
It is taking much longer than was predicted. When we get it we will post a complete review. Todd and Lori
Well, at least you made me laugh.
Did the grates warp or is it still holding up?
They do warp a little with high heat but remain useable. Thanks for watching. Todd Lori and Alec
. . . . "Idiots in HD " Came to check out the BarbeCue stayed for the Comedy .
"aahhhh jeez rick, oooOOoooOO weeee"
Good bbq video, I'm looking to buy a folding grill

@Dmac 740
Top man for sharing. I didn't know that. Also didn't know u only charcoal half. Cheers
Bad Quality Lump Charcoal. Quit poking at the Burgers while they are still raw . . . You flipped them way too soon and you have TOO MUCH heat
I enjoyed the comedy.
I'd hate to see you guys testing out guns smh
😂😂😂💀💀💀
He didnt like that burger
You can still eat the part of the hamburger that didn't touch the ground.
This actually discourages me to buy this grill
Wasn't this difficult with my grill these two young yangs made me lmao
Its actually nice grill if u know what your doing lol

I have one. These guys just didnt execute it right. I had no problems yet.

I bought one for $14 many years ago. It did not have a protected metal for charcoal. I just put two sheets of aluminum and it was easy cleaning.
BURGER DOWN BURGER DOWN!
I don't actually want this grill now . You just put me right off lolol X
I don't know, the grill even works pretty well even when operated by a moron.
This is sad for patties.
This companies stock must have tanked after this video LOL Kidding....
RIP Burger. You looked so juicy.
That's awesome you made a bbq video with you're dad..
With “you’re dad”???
With you are dad??? 🤔
You can put it on the table, but a bigger table, like the picnic table at the bbq area in the park, not this wobbly little plastic table that not even fit. You really scare me when you flipped that burger out.
PPPPPP: "Prior Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance'
Thank you for sharing this video, but you would not be allowed to grill food i brought wasting/flipping it off the Q like that👎 smh
Candle powered if you use coal that pos would catch on fire and melt lol
hilarious!
The moment I see lighter fluid I click dislike
Guy is not the smartest ;D)))
learn how to cook a hamburger
😂😂😂
I'll be freekn pissed off When it comes to food when people drop the food and Playing to damm much

Wow!! Lots of clumsiness
That grilled looks like the most dangerous Grill around that thing is a joke I would never use that that thing looks like it's going to flip over any second while you cooking
Hm! Sounds like Weber Smokey Joe for the win .... it keeps coming out on top in my research.

The cringe is strong with video.
