Thanks for the info. greatly appreciated. I will be using my new TG5 for the first time at Reethi Beach and hope my results are even half as good as yours. Keep them coming. Regards Ian🏴
Wow that’s one of the best snorkelling videos I’ve seen! Terrific variety and sharp closeups.Ives snorkelled several Maldives islands including Reethi Beach twice but yet to visit Faru. Please can you tell me what the currents are like. Thanks for sharing🤓🏴
We stayed in January and the currents were generally strong. However you could enter and drift down to an exit point. Best snorkelling was definitely at dawn ... we are early risers.
Wow! Terrific video with some great closeups. What were you shooting with-camera, settings, lights? I’m returning to Reethi Beach in April/May and Komandoo in Sept. but Reethi Faru definitely will be my next Maldives island. P.S. was the food good? Best wishes Ian🏴
All footage was filmed on GoPro Hero 5 - 2.7k @ 60fps - rendered at approx 30fps for publication. ISO on Auto, Image Stabliser on Wide Field of View No lights .... just natural ... generally early morning light We were on BB so only ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast - selection wasn't huge but we were there in the third week after opening. Dinner at Reethi Grill was delicious - location of the restaurant and ambiance amazing.
We are headed to this place next week. So excited. Plan on diving as much as I can. It looks surreal.
Nice video! Looking forward to diving there in May!
Amazing footage and wonderfully clear. Very nice!
Wow what a beautiful place! One day I’d love to see all this in person! Lucky man!!
