New Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) project from Regional San now operational

The state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility that services the Sacramento region just received a significant upgrade. The new Biological Nutrient Removal project (BNR), which virtually eliminates ammonia from being released into the Sacramento River, has been completed and is now operational.
