- Hi guys welcome back to episode 6 of my God of War (2018) playthrough! In today's episode we journey to retrieve the magic chisel so that we can use it to draw the rune to travel to Jotunheim and find the highest peak in all the realms. We also encounter Magni and Modi in an INTENSE face-off.
I hope you enjoy and please like this video and subscribe to the channel to support me!
Uploads are every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday! ❤ I might sneak some bonus uploads in during this series since I've been playing it nonstop!

Hi everyone! As I said in the intro - I decided to watch a bit about Kratos’ past and how he got to this point because I do feel it is important to have some context on his story. However, I will not be reacting/watching through all the cutscenes because I want to experience them when I eventually play the original games. I do feel like I’m a little too far into this series to completely pause it and go back to the original games, so I hope you can accept my decision. Either way I’m excited to continue and I’m glad I know about Kratos’ past especially for this episode because I feel like it makes it all hit a lot harder. Thanks again and see you guys in the next episode! ❤
After this and Ragnarok I recommend also playing Valhalla, the DLC for Ragnarok. It goes into this past a bit.
Play the originals after this❤
I respect your decision, after this god of war maybe you can play the og god of war titles in greece, while you wait for ragnarok to come out to pc this September
1:12:49 "wHoMaN dO yOu HeAr Me?!"
"I'm still a god. Go away!"
Kratos's absolute bluntness & Freya's amazing sass make them such a pair.
1:11:50 Somebody did call the World Serpent but try not to dwell on it. Its one of the games biggest mystery
The creator confirmed years later it was Baldur
You’re quite smart, I’ve not seen many people get the puzzles as fast as you have and I’ve watched quite a few play throughs of this game
Your thoughts about Kratos’ past & how he felt he caused Atreus’ suffering at the end of the video was a great connection I never thought of. It makes that scene even more meaningful now.
Next episode 👀🔥⛓️
Ooooh girl get ready for next ep! 🔥
I played a lot of games a lot protagonist is a lives were horrible, but Kratos has to be one of the top ones has gone through a hell of a life, and I forgot to mention this today’s my birthday
happy birthday :)
@@krissyonYT thank you very much
It's kinda crazy that Troy Baker and Nolan North voiced Magni and Modi
And also Nathan Drake and Sam Drake from Uncharted both are brothers.
Your a trooper for wanting to watch the OG Gow games!
I wish I was watching these at the time because I would've told you not to watch any backstory at all. This game was 100% made with people who never touched the games before in mind. The two best and equal ways to have played them would be to know everything from playing them, enjoying the continuation of the story, or knowing absolutely nothing and Kratos' past being a big mystery. There is no information you need to know going in, anything that's important for you to know, the game tells you.
Learning about the events of the prior game without experiencing them is IMO the worst experience. You know what happened, but you didn't experience it so you're spoiled by some of the reveals without the emotional weight behind it. The biggest example is in the next video: The blades of Chaos reveal. Ideally the two reactions to it should either be a wave of nostalgia from all the memories you have with them, or 100% "WHAT ARE THOSE!?" wonder as you have no idea what the deal is with them. Virtually every channel I've visited that did the half measure of watching recaps or reading up or whatnot just look at them and go "Oh, hey, the blades he had before, that's pretty neat"
I compare it to watching a movie multiple films into a series and only reading the wikipedia pages for the movies beforehand instead of watching them yourself. It's never going to land the same.
Rant over, I'll just head on back to my entitled-take corner
