- Interview with Ryland Heagy of @origamiangeldc | Catch Origami Angel on tour this Fall in the US! Leave a comment if you have an artist or band you'd like to see on the channel next! Also, please let me know your thoughts on the edit, I wanted to try and cut down on dead air without changing the vibe or content of the interview at all so I'm trying to find a good balance. Thanks so much for watching :)
bro absolutely stellar interview, i thought you looked like the guy in the how to play the title track thumbnail i see in my feed all the time, glad to see you got to talk with the man himself behind the tracks, really solid stuff keep it up
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it, definitely trying new stuff so glad it’s well received. Really appreciate the kind words :)
Found this after finding your Dirty Mirror Selfie cover, which is great BTW. Ryland seems like a good dude. Great job.

Super great interview, didn’t feel like any sections drew on too long, great watch!! 🎉
The Porter Robinson story shook me cause I like Smile ! :D too and I've been listening to Porter and Origami a lot !
Right?! Also I didn’t mention it on camera but literally the same thing happened to me a week before, but with gami haha. They commented on my last cover and I was like holy shit “gami commented, they’re like famous” lol, it’s all relative I guess!
Thank you so much for doing this! 🙏
hell yeah! this is really awesome shane
Thank you!!
this is amazing!!!
So cool!
Huge
Great interview!
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed!
"Somewhere City" is one of my favourite albums, start to finish... The only album that comes close (in my opinion) is "The Sound of Perseverance" by Death
if you like Somewhere City, i will suggest You're Gonna Miss It All by Modern Baseball if you haven't listened to it. A bit more of a midwestern sound, but it's a very clean album.
