Rendang actually has variations based on the area. Most Indonesians prefer the spicier one from Padang. Look it up!!

if they're going to Bali, should've tried Balinese traditional food like ayam betutu or sate lilit. or if they're going to eat rendang, they could've gone to some Padang restaurant since RM Sederhana is like all over Indonesia. but overall, it's nice to see more exposure of Indonesia in other country's broadcast

We have more than 100 nasi goreng here in Indonesia 😎, different type in each areas, if you plan to have culinary tour here, it might took all of your lifetime and still you couldn't finish it all 😂

Actually Bali have their own amazing food. It called Nasi campur (Mixed rice). It usually using pork as their ingredients, so make sure if you want to eat them whether they use pork or chicken. Rendang is actualy come from another part of Indonesia which is west sumatera. It's quite far from Bali. And Indonesia is not only Bali. Have a nice day :)

Rendang adalah makanan khas dari Sumatera Barat yang sudah menjadi makanan kebanggaan nasional Indonesia, jadi rendang sudah tersebar luas ke seluruh Indonesia termasuk Bali. Menurut saya, tempat yang paling cocok untuk merasakan citarasa otentik rendang adalah di Sumatera Barat. Aslinya kuah rendang kental dan terasa berminyak karena mengandung santan. Buat saya rendang versi Medan lebih enak karena lebih pedas daripada versi aslinya.
